I'm here to try to fill the void in romllis fics since there is basically none, I can write others but mainly here for romllis. Give me suggestions please. <2

Roman and hollis have been best friends for forever. They've always been a little too close for friends.

A/N: Hello guys it's been a bit since I've posted a writing but I've been busy, and I've been working on 3 other ones. Roman is more sub in this chapter but I plan on making them more switchy in the future. The gf in this isn't supposed to be sirena because I love her, just btw. Lmk if you guys like this one so far.

Roman and Hollis are hanging out in Roman's apartment hanging out in his bedroom, like always. Hollis has his arm slung around Roman's shoulders as Roman's head lays on Hollis' chest. They're just watching some bullshit show on the TV.

Roman is half asleep when he hears the man holding him whispering his name. He groans quietly as he looks up at his face, "hm..?"

Hollis chuckles softly at Roman's obviously tired face. "Are you sleepy, Rommi?"

"Very.." Roman mumbles, shoving his face against Hollis' chest.

"After you nap for a bit, can we talk about some stuff?" Hollis says quietly, gently stroking Roman's hair. He really wants to discuss their relationship. He knows they're too close to only be friends but he doesn't know if Roman loves him the same way he loves Roman. He knows it's wrong, so extremely wrong, since he has a girlfriend but he just can't help it.

"Yeah.. just don't go anywhere.. you gotta hold me the whole time.." Roman's voice is whiny and slurred with exhaustion. He always gets like this when he's super tired so Hollis is beyond used to it by now.

"I know.. I know. I'm not going anywhere, Rom" Hollis softly kisses the top of Roman's head as he speaks.

After about 3 hours, Roman slowly starts to wake up. He moans as his eyes flutter open and the light hits him.

"Holli.." he whines and hesitantly looks up to see Hollis's face.

"Hm?" Hollis looks down to look Roman in the eye.

Roman doesn't say anything, the look in his eyes says enough. He looks like he wants something really bad, he looks slightly pathetic. He loves Hollis but he's never had the guts to confess his feelings.. but in the dream he just had they were dating and it was the happiest he had ever been.

They hold eye contact for what feels like forever before Hollis breaks the silence, "Can we talk about something?"

Roman blinks a couple times before nodding.

"What are we?" Hollis mutters. He feels extremely guilty even asking that question since he knows he has a loving girlfriend waiting for him back at home.

"What do you mean?" Roman sits up so he can look at Hollis more.

"Roman.. please don't act dumb. You know what I mean. You know this isn't normal best friend shit, Rom." Hollis's voice is slightly more firm now.

Roman takes a deep breath before throwing himself at Hollis, their lips meeting in a deep kiss. Hollis kisses back without a second thought.

Before they know it, their hands are traveling all over each other's torsos. Roman slides his hand up to tangle his fingers in the blonde's hair and slips his tongue into his mouth.

After what feels like hours, they pull apart to catch their breath.

"Fuck.. I love you so much.." Roman whispers between deep pants. It feels so good to finally say it out loud.

"I love you too, Rommi.." Hollis smiles. He feels like a huge weight has been lifted off his shoulders admitting it. He opens his mouth to talk again but his phone starts to ring. He sighs, already knowing who it is.

He reaches over and grabs his phone and answers. "Hey babe."

A small pout spreads across Roman's face as he hears Hollis speak to his girlfriend. He lays back down and rolls over to face away from the other man.

"Where the hell are you?" The woman's voice comes through the phone.

"I told you before I left, babe. I'm at Roman's." Hollis sounds a tiny bit irritated with his girlfriend.

"Really? Show me proof right now. FaceTime me." The woman sounds angry.

Hollis rolls his eyes before FaceTimeing his girlfriend. He pans the camera over to show the back of Roman's head. From the back Roman looks like a girl, his deep brown hair tied into two braids that are spread across the pillow behind him.

"That's a fucking girl!" Hollis' girlfriend screams.

"Roman sit up for a sec for me, ok?" Hollis' voice softens slightly as he speaks to Roman.

Roman sighs before sitting up and turning around to look at Hollis. His face looks awfully upset, which makes Hollis feel guilty.

"See? It's just Rom.." Hollis says pointing at Roman.

"Ok whatever. Be home by midnight." She says before hanging up, not even giving Hollis a chance to answer.

As soon as the call ends, Hollis drops his phone and grabs Roman's face. His thumbs softly stroking his cheeks. "Rommi.."

"I want to be with you." Roman looks desperate.

"Rom.. I can't.. unless we keep it a secret." Hollis sighs. He wants Roman just as bad but he doesn't want to leave his girlfriend. He thinks they can get away with it as long as no one knows.

Roman's expression changes a bit and his lips part to say something but Hollis cuts him off, "NO ONE Rommi.. none of our friends, my girlfriend, parents, absolutely no one, ok? You have to promise me. I love you but I can't have anyone know about us. Is that ok?"

Roman nods quickly. He wishes he could be open about their relationship but if this is all he can get he'll take it. "I promise."

"Ok thank you, Roman. I gotta get home but I'll text you in a bit, mk?" Hollis runs his hand through Roman's hair one last time before standing up.

"Ok.. be safe getting home. I love you so much," Roman smiles as he watches Hollis gather his stuff together to leave.

"I will. I'll text you as soon as I get home. Bye bye Rommi, I love you." Hollis smiles as he walks out of the bedroom and out of the apartment.

When Hollis gets home his girlfriend is immediately nagging him about how he's hanging out with Roman so much; She thinks it's weird and annoying that he spends the majority of his time with Roman, whether it's texting him, calling him, taking him out to eat, taking him shopping, having him over at their house or being over at Roman's house, going to concerts, working on music in the studio, or anything else they're always together.

"I don't get why it's such a big deal.. he's my best friend, babe." Hollis sighs.

"It's a big deal because I'm your girlfriend, Hollis! He's not! You hang out with him more than you hangout with me!" His girlfriend yells.

"Ok.. I'll lay back on seeing him as much. I'm sorry, baby. I didn't mean to upset you." Hollis won't actually cut his time with Roman, he loves him wayyyy too much for that, but he'll just have to be more secretive about it.

"I need to go shower, I'll see you in a bit," Hollis mutters as he walks upstairs into the bathroom. He lets out a deep sigh as the door shuts behind him. As he's getting undressed he gets an idea. He texts Roman: "Rommi are you awake?"

Roman immediately reads the text and answers: "yeah"

Hollis: "wanna see something?"

Roman: "what is it?"

Hollis: "yes or no"

Roman: "sure?"

Hollis: "ok one sec"

Hollis gets himself fully undressed then poses himself, takes a couple pictures, then sends them to Roman. They've seen each other naked a couple times since they've showered together, gotten changed in front of each other, and even helped each other get off a few times.

Roman opens the pictures and his cheeks immediately heat up. Hollis looks so fucking good. Roman feels like he's practically drooling as he stares at the pictures for a good 5 minutes before answering.

"I know, baby I'm sorry. I promise I'll text you all day tomorrow, but I gotta go. I need to finish my shower then go to bed," Hollis rubs his eyes. He knows Roman is gonna be sad that they have to hang up but he wants to get clean then sleep.

"I don't wanna sleep by myself tonight," Roman says quietly. He feels weird going to sleep alone after jerking off with someone.

"Baby.. I can't come back over tonight," Hollis feels bad that he can't go back to Roman's apartment but he has to stay home for a bit.

Roman sighs before nodding, "ok.. I love you. Text me in the morning"

"I love you too, good night baby," Hollis gives a soft smile before hanging up.

Roman never thought he'd be interested in guys but ever since he saw Hollis in his class he started to question himself. He had never felt so gravitated towards another man before. The first time he ever saw Hollis he felt a nervous flutter in his stomach and his appearance was always stuck in his head. At first he tried to ignore it but after a few weeks he had noticed himself staring at him for a bit too long and could no longer put this feeling aside. He never wanted to admit to anyone that he had these feelings, especially since he was in a largely known fraternity house and he knew the other guys would not accept him if they knew, that's just how frats work.

Hollis had also felt an attraction towards Roman since the first day, how could he not? Roman was beautiful; dark curls, deep brown eyes, long eyelashes, sharp cheekbones, soft full lips, a thin but muscular body. He never really stared at Roman because he would always get nervous, but occasionally he would sneak a few glances.

One day, when Roman was having his daily stare at the side of Hollis's face, his friend nudged his arm, "Hello? Roman, we've been talking to you." Roman suddenly snaps out of his gaze and looks at his friend, "sorry, man, I didn't hear you."

His friend just rolls his eyes, he seems a little annoyed since this keeps happening, "whatever man.. I was just telling you we're hosting a party tonight and we want as many people as possible so I need you to start inviting some people."

Roman nods, "alright.."

After class, Roman heads to the library since he wants to see if Hollis hangs out in there, he seems like the type to. Roman almost immediately spots Hollis. He takes a deep breath before walking over to the table he's at, he's sitting alone. They've never talked before, they don't even know each other's names, but his friend said to get as many people as possible so why not take this as an opportunity?

"Yo," Roman says as he sits down at the chair across from Hollis.

Hollis quickly looks up to see the brunette across from him, his stomach flips a little bit. He's very nervous and a little bit confused why someone like Roman is talking to him. "Hey..?"

"Wanna come to a party tonight?" Roman smiles a bit. He's really hoping he'll agree.

Hollis immediately thinks about how much he loves that smile. He's never been to a frat party before, he's not a party boy. His voice is a little quiet since he's nervous, "Eh.. I'm not sure about going. I've never been to a party before.."

Roman is a little bit surprised. He knew Hollis was a good kid but he thought he would have been to at least one. "Seriously? None?"

Hollis smiles a bit and glances down at his paper, "nope.."

Roman feels his heart flutter as Hollis lips turn into a slight smile, it's so cute. He pauses for a few seconds. "What's your name?"

"Hollis.. you?"

"Unique name," Roman mutters to himself. "I'm Roman"

Hollis's smile grows slightly as he makes eye contact with Roman.

Roman tries to ignore how awkward he feels right now. He taps the table a couple times before speaking again, "well, Hollis, you should really come to my party tonight. It'll be fun"

Hollis sighs. He doesn't want to tell Roman no.. especially since this could be one of the only chances they'll be able to see each other outside of class. "Fine.."

Roman sits up a bit, he's excited. He smiles a bit larger than he wanted to. He digs his phone out of his pocket and unlocks it. He slides the phone across the table towards Hollis, "gimme your number and I'll send you the details."

Hollis types his phone number into Roman's phone then hands it back.

Roman pockets his phone then stands up. He pats Hollis' shoulder as he starts to walk away, "great, see you later."

Hollis's heart rate excels slightly as he feels the quick contact of Roman's hand on his shoulder. He lets out a breath he didn't know he was holding after Roman is far enough away. He can't stop smiling as he quickly tries to finish up his homework so he can get back to his dorm to get ready.

After Roman gets back to the house he kicks his shoes off then heads up to his room and shuts the door. He throws himself onto his bed and pulls his phone out. He smiles a bit as he sends a message to hollis. The message contains the time the party will start and the address of the frat he stays in. He goes through his contacts and DMs on Instagram to invite several other people.

Hollis is back in his dorm rummaging through his closet trying to find something Roman will think is cool. His roommate, Nate, giggles as he watches how frantic Hollis seems.

Nate is Hollis' childhood friend so he knows how Hollis feels about guys, he's really the only one.

"I can't believe Roman Leal invited *you* to a party," Nate mumbles.

Hollis groans. His phone dings and he quickly lunges at his bed to grab it, knowing who it's from. He sees that the party starts at 9:00pm and quickly looks at what time it is right now. Shit.. it's already 7:35 and he still has to shower. He shuffles through the mess he made with his clothes on the floor trying to collect all of the stuff he needs to shower. He rushes down the hallway to the shower room and gets himself undressed and into the shower as quickly as he can.

About 30 minutes later Hollis scrambles back into the dorm room. He's now wearing loose jeans, a black tank top, and a black jacket. He looks himself over in the mirror and whines a little bit. He looks over at Nate, "do I look ok?!"

Nate looks up from his phone to check Hollis's outfit, "Holl, you look fine."

"Ok well.. do you think Roman will think I look good?" Hollis really wants to impress Roman.

Nate playfully rolls his eyes, "yes, bro"

Hollis sighs as he sits down at his desk and looks at himself in the small mirror he has sitting there. He brushes through his hair and tries to fix it up a bit. His roots are a bit overgrown but he doesn't mind too much. He looks over at his glasses that are sitting in the corner of his desk. He has three pairs of glasses, one with pink frames, plane wire frames, and black frames. He tries each of them on at least three times trying to see which one looks best. Eventually he chooses the wire frames. He glances over at his alarm clock to check the time again, oh my god it's already 8:20. He needs to leave by 8:45 to make it in time.

Meanwhile, Roman has also been trying to get ready for the party. He's wearing a black zip up that's only half zipped, since he always ends up shirtless at parties anyway, and dark jeans. He puts a little bit more time and effort into styling his hair since he knows Hollis is coming. He also sprays a couple extra sprits of cologne. He heads downstairs to help the house get ready for the party. A couple of the other guys look over at him, they can tell something is different about him but they don't know what. They shrug it off and go back to setting up the drinks, food, and a couple games in the yard. Roman gets the speakers and music set up around the house.

At 9:10 Hollis finally gets there, he took a while trying to hype himself up. He takes a long breath before stepping into the house. He immediately tries to find Roman. When he spots Roman he sees that his arm is slung around some girl's waist as he holds a drink in the opposite hand and talks to his friends. Hollis feels a slight jealous pit form in his stomach when he sees Roman with that girl but he tries to push it down. Hollis slowly makes his way through the crowd to stand in front of Roman.

When Roman sees Hollis his eyes light up and a big smile spreads across his face. He's just now realizing how damn tall Hollis is. Roman is around 6'0 and Hollis is clearly a good 3-4 inches taller, he definitely wasn't expecting that but he ignores it, "Hey man!"

One of Roman's friends takes one look at Hollis then mutters, "who's this guy.."

He doesn't seem happy that Hollis is here which makes Hollis feel even more anxious and insecure about tonight.

Roman shoots his friend a look then lets go of the girl. He shows Hollis over to the drinks and grabs him a beer, "do you even drink?"

Hollis shrugs a bit as he takes the beer, "sometimes."

"Cool cool.." Roman says quietly as he takes a sip of whatever is in is cup.

The music is loud and it's extremely crowded. Hollis has never been to a place like this and is obviously a little bit uncomfortable with the setting, Roman notices it.

"Relax, Holli. I know it's a lot but you'll loosen up once you get a couple drinks in you." Roman grins as he looks Hollis in the eye, he has to look up a little bit for eye contact.

Hollis's face heats up a small amount at the nickname, he loves it. He nods and takes a few big drinks of the beer in his hand.

Throughout the night, Roman and Hollis do not separate. They spend hours talking as they get more and more intoxicated. As the alcohol fills Roman's system the more he finds it hard to control his feelings towards Hollis. He feels the crotch of his jeans start to get tight as the night goes on. He grabs Hollis' arm and quickly pulls him up the stairs. He leads Hollis into his bedroom and he quickly shuts the door.
