No, I don’t mean things they’ve talked about or posts that have a lot of notes, I don’t mean the stupid BS where “we got a girl a pet duck!”. Name an actual change they have made to the world, name an accomplishment. 

You can’t. tumblr hasn’t done jack fuck for any cause. Meanwhile 4chan has started things like, the occupy movement, exposed corporate and federal spying, taking down pedophiles, Nazi Radio shows, shutting down Westboro baptist church ad campgins/theirwebsite/etc. I could go on and on and on, and you can’t name a fucking thing.

4chan is always throwing around slurs like there’s no tomorrow. Do you think anyone (who isn’t white/male) feels fucking accepted there? Hell no. Sure, Tumblr isn’t 100% perfect on that regard, but it’s better.

Oh no, not slurs! However could we handle such a devastating thing. I’m so glad we have you to tell us how all non-white and/or non-male people might feel, I’m glad such a representative exists, otherwise I wouldn’t know what to do.

And I’m sure there are plenty of things Tumblr has done, but I choose not to worry about those things because I actually don’t have time for it. I’d like to get involved, but it’s difficult, and stressful.

You choose not to worry about those things because it doesn’t suite your argument, rather than come to conclusions about things based on the actual reality we live in, you pick and choose to find things that agree with your already decided opinion.

tumblr attempted to ‘takedown’ 4chan in an entirely unprovoked attack for two reasons

1) to silence a community that they don’t like

2) To propagate individual user’s popularity. Just like you’re doing now with “Any of my follwers want to add to this? I’d just love more attention and notes!”

Because Charlotte overcompensated for the fact that she was never there for her daughter due to her career and had no real idea how to connect with her child emotionally, by constantly showering her with praise for things she didn’t do and more toys, candy and clothing then she could ever possibly need, and as a result Angelica grew up to be an emotionally manipulative, self-obsessed, ungrateful, insecure, entitled brat who tormented those weaker then her for her own amusement and had no ability how to do anything for herself, make friends, share or take turns or even be happy with what she had?

. And better nobody come in and say “well it’s good that she’s assertive bc little girls!!” bs. Angelica was a bully that had satisfaction in attacking smaller and weaker kids (babies for crying out loud). The reason Chuckie is so paranoid is because of most of Angelica’s creepy stories which she tells to scare the babies.

In comparison look at Susie, who’s pretty much the opposite of Angelica. Her mom was a Harvard graduated doctor who was pretty much a multitask champion (that influenced a lot in Susie’s education later in life), and while Angelica is a brat, Susie is kind and mature and everybody likes her, the babies look up at her as their savior basically.

Fuck if tumblr is gonna come adoring Rugrats better look at Betty, who was a feminist and the one in charge in the house and was a good parent. She made heavy liftings while Howard was the stay at home dad busy in the kitchen but both were happy about it and actually were there for the children. Phil and Lil turned out into fine kids with good parenting unlike a certain someone.

Also, the fact that there are late 90’s kids on tumblr who completely miss or manipulate scenes like this makes me so sad, because it’s clear the differences between the way the early and mid baby boomers raised their kids to the late ones. 

Yo. Thought I’d let you guys know that they’re planning on tricking us into deleting out System 32, which would render our computers useless.

i don’t actually believe it

it’s the year 2014. two thousand and fourteen

and tumblr is dropping PSAs about “hey guys look out for this system 32 prank!”

that is the oldest fucking; and I’m serious, it’s the oldest, fucking thing on the entire internet. I thought that anyone whose been on the internet for more than a month would’ve heard delete system 32 before. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone ask a question about a computer on a public forum without SOMEONE saying “delete system 32 lol”

honestly i have exactly 0 sympathy if any of you dumb fucks don’t have the basic common sense to go and do a little bit of research before you delete a file off c:\windows\ because an image on the internet said that it would stop you from getting “hacked”
