sometimes i worry people dont believe me if i tell them i have a physical disability bc i can usually do regular things but the reality is that i'm at a 6 or higher on the pain scale at all times, and i have to manually put my joints back in place because they slip out all the time. i even need a cane to walk at times but i rarely use it bc im afraid of people's judgement. most of the time i just pretend im not suffering because i dont want people to treat me like im helpless. i already get treated like a dumb fragile baby a lot bc of my mental illness, the last thing i need is to be infantilized and underestimated even more
