Every year the Boston athletic Association hosts the Boston Marathon. Its a race open to anyone from any nation. The 26.2 mile course attracts over 30,000 runners. It begins in the suburbs and ends in the heart of downtown Boston. The men’s winner, Cherono, Lawrence (KEN), finished with a time of 02:07:57. The women’s winner, Degefa, Worknesh (ETH), finished with a time of 02:23:31 .

Have been practicing this for over 2 weeks and lost 5 pounds. I will continue this for as far as I can. Eating less and less each week. My goal is to lose 10 pounds. I don't feel too hungry on the days I don't work out. I am adjusting to the new diet well but days I workout are tougher. My body craves to eat something and it's hard not to overeat. It becomes a struggle with will power not to take that extra bite.

Nicole Chaplin is a fitness rockstar. Growing up she was physical active in cheerleading and track and field. This helped her deal with her self-esteem.  After college she devoted herself to fitness. A solstice is an astronomical event that occurs twice each year. The summer solstice is the longest day of the year and the winter in the coldest. This term can only apply to any place away from the equator. The sun will be at its lowest point on this day in the North pole but be on its highest point in the south pole. This year’s winter solstice will be December 21st.
