Yea ur right they technically did do her dirty, I mean she obviously looked up to Batman. And perhaps the reason as to why he didn’t fully take her in, is because he knew the risk all to well, that being the Gothams Batman, it comes with the risk that you are going to lose those that are closest to you.
Also, he probably was keeping Barbara Gordon at bay because:
1. he didn’t want to risk Batgirl losing her life, because she is all that Jim Gordon has.
2. Because being a vigilante crimefighter is a full time gig for and she’s a kid.
Though for 2 the same argument can be made that Dick Grayson is also a kid. Though he has more in common with Bruce since his parents also died due to a criminal. So I guess it comes down to Bruce being selective of who he chooses to be his sidekick, as well as share the same pain of losing both parents.

think about it. This guy is from the 17th century and speaks formal as hell, and then he just hits you with this. Caught me off guard so badly i laughed hysterically
Anyway headcanon that belos would--RARELY but still would--pick up mannerisms from random members of the emperor's coven
Like imagine he's just sitting in the throne room, doing whatever he does when he overhears one of the coven members grumbling "my scroll is broken? give me a break man,"
and he's there thinking, foolish witches with their nonsense terminology, then moves on
but he keeps overhearing it. Not like, all the time but enough from passing by other members to figure out what they mean
then comes a day he's walking with hunter and hears kikimora calling for him to pester him about something, and Belos unknowingly mutters out loud "Ugh, Give me a break here"
And Hunter's neck nearly snaps from how quick he looks at belos because ???? this is the same uncle who likes to use words like "Hitherto" and "Betwixt" then all of a sudden drops that.
Honestly, that is such a cool headcanon that I never considered it before, and the fact that he says this in parallel to Luz saying it about Eda, in a "welp, can't argue with that 🙃" kind of way. I would also like to think that Luz taught Belos some cool new phrases, such as her iconic: "NOW EAT THIS SUCKA!!" but his version would mostly be in line with this: "DINE ON THIS, NOW, PARASITE!!" but idk tho, it would also be funny if Hunter acted as a modern language translator, but considering how sheltered he is, I believe he wouldn't know as much. And therefore, you would hear Belos either occasionally saying the most out-of-pocket shit or just being very tone deaf.
Just watched the Roundtables Video on the Long-Lived King Novel and how the main focus of the book is going to be challenging death, and how King is going to outlive his family members:
Honestly, I feel very conflicted about this because it gives me the feeling that those who have passed are not completely dead and are still around. I know this was 2 years AFTER Belos has died (in the most, Fine, damn. here 🤬😤🙄😡!!!!" Way possible). Now I feel like they are just adding this plotline to backtrack on what they have done to the villain as well as challenge the notion that death is the end-all, be-all. Which if it is, wouldn't Belos exist in another form? Because remember what I said about him POSSIBLY HAVING a DNA strand while in his goop form? For all I know, he's possibly developed a devil's hopyard, where there is one large circle in the middle of a forest that refuses to grow?
And if that man REALLY wanted to, he could kill the underground species that live within the soil. I mean, he's already fucked up how the titan looks, pointing at the sky, so what's stopping his underground journey to spread a virus or worse, a syndrome? Also, now that the Collector is free from Belos, I wonder if the Collector is going to miss Belos? Considering their relationship in the earlier seasons, he felt a close connection to him, without realizing that Belos was just using him?
I mean, Belos was the only social interaction he had, and if the Collector was that close to Belos, and considering the Collector's age = being just a kid, wouldn't he view Belos as a father figure, possibly even more so than Hunter?
Lastly, and personally. If Dana is still working for Disney to line their pockets and not her own, and then EXPECTS US to boycott the damn company, that was on her and not on us IF she decides she wants to go halfsies on both Disney and her new animation project: Knights of Guinevere or KOG for short. When what she SHOULD have done from the very beginning was make TOH a graphic novel FIRST and then adapt it to being a TV show, because THAT'S what should've happened, if that wasn't done already!
What are your guys' thoughts on this? Are you buying the book or going to read it online?
Both Jean Luc and Hooty should be taken just as seriously as King’s progression as the Titans' son, Part 1:
since it's revealed that Hooty is a part of the Titan’s eye socket. Why isn’t it the same for Jean Luc?
I mean Jean Luc had a hand in raising King from when he was first hatched, and not only that. I’d also argue with the fact that Jean Luc is the closest to a living biological family member that King has. Yet they did not show up when King's dad was introduced. Not once, nor were the ruins of where King was born?
This is something that doesn't sit right with me about how the show treated Jean-Luc: in the end, he was more like an inanimate prop when he wasn't in the ruins. Which leads me to believe that the ruins = the Titan's territory/nest for hatching their young / Jean Luc’s confined living area / the protector of the nests when a Titan that laid its egg has to leave. I mean, for Hooty, this may be the case as well, because for both Hooty and Jean Luc. They:
1. Seem to be the only ones of their kind, that directly interact with the main characters, that being Eda, King, Luz, and further down the line Lilith.
And 2. are both protectors of the territory that belongs to others: for Hooty, its Eda’s house, and for Jean Luc, it’s the Titans' chosen nesting area. However, only one of them gets fleshed out and becomes friends with Lilith. While the other is used as background decor in Luz’s room and is never brought up again? Honestly, the show should’ve explored this concept a bit further, such as:
1. what is Jean Luc: is he a sentient being or a magic archetype?
1a. If he is a sentient being, why haven’t the other of Jean Luc's species also helped in raising King? Can they age or die? And if so, why isn't it the same for Jean Luc? Shouldn't he be either dead or weaker?
1b. If Jean Luc is NOT a sentient being and instead a magic archetype, where is the magic source coming from, and why is he the only one that seems to be functioning?
2. Does the location of the titan's nest or the island have to do with how Jean-Luc operates? And if so, is there an eclipse lake full of Titan's blood that connects to the only functioning "Titan nanny?" (Possibly underneath the ruins, or are the ruins a part of it?) And lastly: How long can a sentient or magic archetype last, just on Titan blood alone? Or is there something else that fuels Jean Luc, both in the environment that he is in and his willingness to protect King?
In Season 2, episode 3 -Echoes of the past: we are introduced to Eda running away from something, while the boiling rain is taking over. However, no one is chasing after her, since there is a titan ruin on an island in the middle of nowhere. Eda takes refuge inside the ruins. And that's when we see King's eyes glow. We also see little miniature Jean Luc statues that King has made, with Jean Luc's iconic horizontal crescent head shape.
And what I immediately take into consideration is that possibly both the Titan and the "Titan nanny creature" have a symbiotic relationship, where the Titan's hatchlings are being taken care of by the TN. and considering how much bigger the Titans get, the Titans need a small enough creature, to not only take care of their hatchlings but also be a live-in maid essentially. And as the titan pups grow, and what we see King doing:
On the Owl House website: The Owl Club, Season 2, episode 3 -Echoes of the past: timestamp: 13:06 - 13:09.
These two images show that King was trying to recreate another TN, as well as the fact that this wasn't the first time that King had done this; this is technically an army of "Frosty the snowman/men" (Though not made from snow, but instead from rock). What if another reason King is making these statues is for Jean Luc to choose a select few to pass on his magic to?
Also, here are the full episode and the website that I used for the timestamp:

Both Jean Luc and Hooty should be taken just as seriously as King's progression as the Titan’s son part 2:
So, remember when I said that Hooty shouldn’t exist in the same timeline as Belos? Well, for starters: Hooty is a part of the titan's eye socket. So why isn’t Hooty with King when he hatched? Why wasn’t he also there HELPING Jean Luc raise King? And why did the Titan choose Hooty over Jean Luc?
And another thing:
Why was King THE ONLY TITAN PUP IN THE RUINS that Eda stumbled across? Is it:
A. Titans can only lay one egg at a time because they are an early mammal species where live birth isn't an option, and because they haven't evolved far enough for their lineage to reach that point?
If we go with this first option, then that means:
They die being surrounded by the boiling waters of the Isles.
2. The boiling waters are not their natural habitat (then what is)?
Or 3. Nature is selective: If Titans die ON TOP of the boiling water, and creatures inhabit on top of them (maybe including other races of Titans)? = They are either genetically modified to handle the boiling water, or they are the reason why the water boils in the first place.
B. Titans can lay more than one egg, but like shark pups, they have to compete with one another inside a female Titan's womb, meaning that they can attack their own as well as go after the underdeveloped "eggs" (before it forms a protective barrier)?
If we consider this option then:
Titans are naturally aquatic creatures / can handle extreme temperatures / acidic chemical compounds that can kill other creatures.
Back to the idea that Nature is selective: Unborn Titan pups may have to compete with one another as well as take advantage of their smaller / less developed siblings, for the chance of preserving themselves and their own development.
Titans have other natural enemies that are either related by species or are a whole different branch that were genetically modified to hunt Titans = Titan hunters.
And because of these natural enemies, the Titans had to develop a failsafe method (if needed) that, when female Titans during ovulation, or an emulation may lay fake eggs in a den, separate from their actual one, for their predators to mistake for "unborn/unhatched pups" basically a semi-symbiotic relationship but mostly a "damn, here!" type one.
Or C like B. Titans can lay more than one egg; however, the Titan pups do not compete in the womb but are instead laid in a clutch, so that when they do hatch, their first instinct is to head straight towards a TN (Titan Nanny).
If we consider this option, then:
Titans have evolved to be brood parasites.
TN's (like what Jean Luc is) cannot naturally produce offspring themselves, but through symbiosis, they rely on young titan pups to make small statues out of nearby rock material, as either a host to carry on a TN's DNA through asexual reproduction. Or a food source for the TN so that they can continue functioning.
In a brief summary we got:
A. Lay their young like an: Early mammal.
Mammalian reproduction began with egg-laying and evolved into live birth over 200 million years. Monotremes still lay eggs, while marsupials
B. Lay their young like some species of sharks:
One embryo gobbles up the others as part of a paternity struggle that lasts beyond the womb

While yes, it would be funny to see Hooty antagonize Belos in his goop form. In my opinion, Belos and Hooty should NOT exist in the same timeline together, because 1. Hooty is more of an Eda’s Owl House homebody house demon.
2. It’s confirmed in season 1, Episode 6: Hooty’s moving Hassle, timestamp - 08:36 - 09:02 = HE HAS FULLY DEVELOPED LEGS!!
Though you could also argue that Luz, Willow, and Gus had to conjure up a summoning spell for this to work. We see their eyes (Willow and Gus’s) glow blue; however, Hooty’s legs do not have a blue hue to them, so it’s either actually his legs or the spell convinces Hooty that he needs to evolve legs. (At least that’s what I am assuming the spell does.
3. If Hooty actually has legs and needs a magic source/spell/witch to neurotically activate them. Why hasn’t Eda found out about this? Or if she has, and considering her line of work, why hasn’t she used this to her advantage, especially at night?
And 4. Hooty is seemingly the only house-demon character who is part of a house. Which makes me question. Why haven’t other houses in the BI implemented that feature in theirs, and most importantly of all, why doesn’t Belos’s Castle have one also?
Here's where you can watch the episode:
When Luz, Willow, and Gus accidentally animate the Owl House, the house runs amok around Bonesborough.Cuando Luz, Willow y Gus animan accide

Honestly, with the added context of Maskit and Cora's supposed children, I believe that Maskit has the potential to lead a somewhat normal life, if it means ensuring the safety of his kids, away from crime. And far away from Joker
(Though I bet he couldn't be bothered knowing that he now shares grandkids with penguin, I mean, he didn't care about his own son Maskit, nor was he aware of the fact that Harley was pregnant to begin with, though their cells are right next to each other in the Batman Strikes comic issue # 43, titled "Grounded" in the last few pages).
Honestly, I hope that Harley also has a happy ending. Being her own person apart from Joker and especially being a part of her grandchildren's lives, as well as being there for her son.
And as for Joker, I hope he's come to terms with the fact that Harley is her own person and no longer falls for his manipulation, and also, if need be, made aware that Harley would have no problem going into mama bear mode, if it means that Joker is STILL too self-absorbed to realize that their son and grandkids come first before he ever does, if he thinks he can weasel his way in without taking accountability for what he's done to his own family.
Shipping harley x joker in the 2004 AU is stupid as fuck especially when they say “the only good AU” just because he acts “kind” to her and doesn’t commit physical abuse. Even though it was stated that he is literally only acting kind enough because he is in a consistent state of grooming her to do his bidding and regifts that affection whenever she starts to get out of his control and realize he would easily leave her for dead if it meant saving himself or possibly even the bat if it was another villain threatening to kill him since he both wants the bat dead and their fight to be eternal at the same time.
I get what you are saying, and it’s ok if you don’t personally agree with the ship, I mean at the end of the day he did have ulterior motives, with Harley. She was already in a vulnerable place, and he said it himself “someone should take advantage of that.” He made her into the image he wanted. He made her into a criminal. And yeah, it gets frustrating when people call it “the only good AU” because “he’s not physically abusive to her.”
Tho this scene possibly says otherwise:
Timestamp: 1:22-1:26
and this pic:
He yanked her back, he didn’t ask her to get back in her seat he yanked her. So yea that was the only time that I disagreed with the way he treated her. Tho I could also argue that she tried to talk some sense into him, right after he did that. Saying that they can rob the bank themselves, without Slackers help. which didn’t work cuz he wasn’t in the mood. I headcanon when they were driving back to their hideout he apologized to her for doing that to her. And they made up because no where in the episode does he lay his hand on her again. Though he did yell at her later in the episode to “hit the gas” when he was scared shitless of Joker 2.0 going after his ass.

You’re right it was terrible, he should’ve died by the atmosphere alone with the boiling rain, and for his final line to be “we’re humans, we’re better than this” only for Eda to reply back with “well we ain’t!” Like?? congratulations Eda, you just proved his point that witches, are an inferior and barbaric race to humans; and before his death he should’ve been thinking of Caleb, because what was the point of hallucinating about Caleb, if he never showed up at the end, or even talked about?

OK SO Ive had this idea and I think it’s super interesting so D.a.v.e form the 2004 Batman cartoon was a computer AI program that was built up and trained on the profiles and behaviors of all the villains in Arkham this means he can predict their next move before they make it BUT do yall think that this would include personality and personal morals? Like would he pick up on Harvey’s sense of justice or ivys love for plants or dose it all just cancel out, dose it even matter at the end of the day if he’s sentient enough to make his own personality
True, true. Or just have the riddler have his own personal therapist after The Batman strikes comic issues:
The Batman Strikes #34: Stick shift.
And The Batman Strikes #40: the burning question.
Honestly, if D.A.V.E in stick shift wasn’t a Joker 2.0 (or before that perhaps?) or at the very least was his own person, I mean, just thinking about it. In the events of what happened in #40 the burning question, when Joker kidnaps one of Riddlers Arkham’s female caretaker: Mrs. Philis or Sue. The first name basis he refers to Mrs. Philis as, it’s very sweet to think that she could’ve been the stepping stone for Edward Nygma to turn over a new leaf. (Honestly considering what happened between Riddler / Edward Nygma and his first love Julie, who ended up using him). And just for Joker to “possibly think that he’s helping” The Riddler overcome his heartbreak with Julie, and for the Riddler / Edward Nygma to pursue his relationship with Sue, (or what Edward thinks he may have with her, I kind of take it as someone who is not quite ready to have that level of intimacy again with someone else, out of fear that he could be hurt again, by someone closest to him).
I kind of take their relationship as The Riddler projecting his feelings onto someone else and try to rekindle a relationship that he once had with Julie, almost like a Julie 2.0 situation. I mean, it would make sense for Arkham to assign Mrs. Philis to try and steer The Riddler into the right direction, that way he’s more susceptive to receiving help I mean look at this:
But the episode is titled a fistful of felt (I believe). Anyways here is a pic of The Riddler / Edward Nygma:
It may not be the same person cuz one: the inmate has tanner skin, then Edward / Riddler, the jaw line doesn’t quite match, and neither does the nose bridge. Plus no where does it show Riddler having any facial hair (unless you count the streaks on the corner of his mouth, when he’s in his costume, but other than that, if they were the same person. Then I at least expect Riddler to be more at peace with himself, and move on from Julie.
And for his relation to Dave, hopefully Riddler can find Dave to be endearing, rather than a nusiance but considering this strip from issue # 34 near the ending of this comic of The Batman strikes:
I doubt it, but still I think it would be nice for D.A.V.E to at least have the Riddlers back, when Edward needs him.
