Valparai

This is a picture taken from one of our recent trips to Valparai. Valparai is a hillstation in south india , Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. This place is filled with beautiful and serene forests and tea estates all over. The drive to our resort was enjoyable. With cool breeze and just the sound of birds chirping and morning warmth of the sun. It was a morning to remeber and this photo definitely does that .

Saw this fishing boat by a beach that recently got trapped by some recent strong winds. I waited for the sky to light up during sunset so it could look more dramatic but it never did. In the end i like how this photo turned out . The boat lit up well from the warm evening sunset while the sky remained in the coolish blue.

The never ending hills and valleys carpeted with tea farms can be seen all over valparai. The tea farms give valparai its picturesque view.

An Early Morning walk is the best things anywhere but at a place surrounded by such beauty the simple walk becomes an experience

This Lake was close to sholayar dam. This bunch of trees was so photogenic that i had to take a picture of this scene with layers of hills on the right it seemed perfect.

Morning Sun gleaming thru the morning Mist. It was an experience that i will long remember. The serenity of the morning quitness with just the sound of leaves fluttering in the gentle chill wind and tiny birds chirping along was meditative . I had to take my camera out to caputre the sun caresessing lush tea estates in a valley below!
