Floral Houndstooth.

Documentary looking at the fashion magazine Vogue, in particular the fashion editors.They perhaps have one of the most important role in the magazine, where they are responsible for the images and looks that go to print. upon watching the documentary I realized that each and every one of the fashion editors have their own style and aesthetic, way of looking and producing works. ultimately making me think whats my style, aesthetic or voice, yes i like pattern, and fashion, but where in the big wide world would they fit into?, which market would the work that I’m producing appeal to. 

“Granny chic” new fashion trend to hit the fashion industry, hailing back to those warm woollies and vintage items that were passed down and forgotten. What is really interesting is the use of check, plaid and even hounds tooth patterns, all featured in somewhat subdued tones, what with fashion resurrecting the 70′s era of fashion first taking inspiration from the mother and now the grandmother.
