A new mod by Eliss at MTS! I always appreciate any 'Children can...' mods to enable them to do a lot more things in this game! Riding horses especially! Thank you! - desiree-uk Eliss Mod notes:

This mod allows child Sims to ride horses just like adults, without the weird stretching! Children can now perform all horse-related actions with proper animations.

🔧 Note: The only time stretching still occurs is during mounting and dismounting, as those animations have not yet been converted. Everything else works smoothly and looks natural.

🔧 If you notice any unconverted or buggy animation, please let me know! There are a huge number of animations in the game, and I may have missed one by accident.

❗ Important: Place this mod into your Mods > Overrides folder.

❗ Important: If you are using Nona’s “Children Can Ride Horses” mod, please remove it before installing this mod to avoid file conflicts.

I’m about to *finally* reinstall the Sims 2 that I had lost when my old computer died two years ago. I’ve checked my Sims 2 bookmarks but oh my gosh, it’s from 2009! :D Is there an ultimate Sims 2 resources site, with the must-have mods & worlds, with links up to date?

Yeah, you read correctly, I said Sims 3 :)

This mod makes the game’s logic threads run faster, speeding up loading of Buy/Build and CASt, smoother UI elements, smoother CAS, fixes CAS music randomly stopping. Can also speed up live mode and loading, it’s essentially a general improvement.

Steam/Disk version: SFS / Dropbox

Simply unzip the file into your “The Sims 3/Game/Bin” folder.

Origin version: SFS / Dropbox

For Origin, unzip the file into your “The Sims 3/Game/Bin” folder, and launch the game from “TS3PatchLauncher.exe” every time you want to play. It’ll be just like launching the game normally from Sims3Launcher, going through Origin and everything. If you’re bypassing the launcher by renaming your TS3.exe to Sims3Launcher.exe, it will also work just fine so don’t worry about it!

Origin Users: I recommend launching the patch as administrator if your game is installed in Program Files/Program Files(x86), otherwise it is most likely not going to work.

You can configure the mod by editing the TS3Patch.txt file with notepad. I left comments in that file on how to set it up if you’re having any issues or if you think your computer is good enough to increase the speed more (or decrease it if the default is too demanding)

The changes are most noticeable in CAS: Smoother body sliders, Sim rotation and quicker switching of clothes.

PLANTER POTS COLLECTION

I wanted to shift focus from create-a-sim this month, I didn’t have the intention of making a set of functional planter pots but this is where I ended up and I’m super happy with the result.

These do not work for any large plants like apple trees that would not realistically fit in a pot of this size.

PETS EYE MODIFICATIONS

This was requested by quite a few people and I wasn’t sure that it was even do-able, but ta da! Here you go. You asked for it!

Some things to take into consideration before downloading:

This mod is a little wonky, there’s no way around that. There will be some odd clipping when the pets blink. However, for the majority of the time the effects will be unnoticeable.

This mod is for adult & elder cats/dogs ONLY. There is currently no way to give ‘clothing’ to puppies and kittens, so until then, the option will not be available.

Your pet cannot wear a HAT at the same time as this mod. This mod takes up the Hat slot on the pet.

Your pet CAN wear other accessories with this mod (besides hats). Want your pet to wear shoes, clothes, or a collar? Go for it! You can still wear accessories that do not take up the hat slot!

This is NOT a default override. So do not worry about your pets all showing up with missing eyes!

THREE LEGGED FURRENDS! (FRONT LEG VERSION)

Hello! Want to create your own three legged companions? Well now you can!

Some things to take into consideration before downloading:

This mod is PURELY cosmetic. The mod will not replace any animations whatsoever. Your pets will still walk and act as though they have all 4 legs present.

This mod is for adult & elder cats/dogs ONLY. There is currently no way to give ‘clothing’ to puppies and kittens, so until then, the option will not be available.

Your pet cannot wear shoes or body clothing at the same time as this mod. The “missing leg” requires you to use up both the Full Body and Shoe slot for your pet!

Your pet CAN wear accessories with this mod (besides shoes). Want your pet to wear a hat or collar? Go for it! You can still wear accessories that do not take up the foot slot!

This version of the mod only has options to remove the FRONT legs. You can find the hind leg version here.

This is NOT a default override. So do not worry about your pets all showing up with a leg missing!

Two months ago I saw by chance this post and it reminded me that I’d like to try TS4 Morph Maker to create a size slider for dogs. The slider isn’t perfect but for now it’s the best I can do! =)

Slider will conflict with any other slider which changes the dog’s body hotspot control (alBodyHotspotControl + adBodyHotspotControl)

Known Issures

Some animations with other dogs or humans will look odd (depending on how much the size was adjusted) → there’s no fix possible.

A larger sized dog will ‘fly over ground’ when sitting or lying down AND a smaller sized dog will sit/lay down under the ground in CAS and live mode → I’m searching for a fix.

The proportions of the dogs aren’t 100 % accurate → I’ll try to get them more precise.

Toes on inner forelegs/paws hide (reported by @blue-ancolia) → I couldn’t (re-)produce this issue, so I’ve no idea how to fix it or what causes this bug.

If you find any other bug or if you’ve an idea to fix a bug, let me know.

Bakie’s The Sims 4 Custom Content: Invisible Pet Beds - Small and Large

In this Series I will show you all the Custom Content I made for The Sims 4.

I will show you where to find it in game, how it looks, but also some tips and tricks on using this item in game.

To make it able to order pets to sleep on other places then only in their pet beds, I made these same pet beds invisible! This mod can also be combined with the Playable pets mod made by AOM, for which you find a link in the video description too. Chihuahua Makeover

Gatsby is a yappy dog who tends to be a bit aggressive to the others, is he afraid or does he feel the need to dominate? Maybe you’ll find out… Anyway, Gatsby will adapt well to apartment living… let’s hope that you have very kind neighbors who will stand the noise.

Before downloading, please read these notes so you’re not confused or mislead.

These will not automatically change as your dog is neutered, becomes pregnant, or gives birth! Since they are technically clothing you will have to change them yourself in CAS!

On all of these, the nipples come in three shades of pink, plus a multi-color version as a guide for making custom recolors.

There are small odd mesh deformations with some animations or body types that are too small to fuss with- With certain animations/poses the front edge of the male’s sheath is stretched/squashed a little bit. With large chests/small bellies, some of the nipples on all of these will become slightly pointy, this is worst on the nursing/pregnant nipples. The more extreme your dog’s body type, the more obvious this will be. It’s a combination of tiny weight-painting errors by me and an abnormal method of animation by the game makers.

Due to the way the game makers made the different fur types, the nursing belly and pregnant belly do not work with several of the furs! Your pregnant/nursing bitches may need to get a haircut to show off their mom-bods, sorry!

You will have to apply these in CAS to existing dogs, to all the outfits you have set up. They should show up automatically on new dogs created by the game but they may not. These all show up in CAS under “all clothing” with a solid color thumbnail indicating nipple color.

These by themselves will be overridden by any body clothing you have your dog wearing. To help with this problem, I have converted most of the C&D and MFP clothings to have a non-default version with the junk for adult males, and bandanas for all adults with the medium pink nipple color.

I play with my setting on high and these were only made for the highest mesh LOD so if they don’t show up for you, your settings may be too low or you may be too far away from the dog for the game to want to load the highest LOD.

If you have a custom body clothing or retexture you’d love to keep using with this set, please specify which one and nicely ask the creator of it to message me with permission to modify their clothing!
