I did and all I can say is

Both tend to come on with puberty and appear to be rooted in discomfort in our “new” bodies which just happen to manifest in slightly different ways.

I think the reason why people flat out refuse to compare BD and GD is because they’ve simply not bothered to understand what BD is, probably because of sexism because it largely affects girls and women. I see people be like “BD is just teenage girls who think they’re fat or hate their bodies, whereas GD is so much more ✨complex✨ than that”. Which is typical sexism / internalised sexism, and the very kind that is pushed by gender ideology. Everything to do with women and girls is shallow, superficial, Not That Deep. Everything TRAs think is special, magical, You Wouldn’t Get It.

But when I see people talk about their experiences of gender dysphoria I am just like... okay? Same?

You don’t feel like your ✨true self ✨ ? I feel exactly the same way. I do not recognise myself in the mirror. I do not see the person I am physically as “me” at all. When I picture myself, I don’t look anything like how I actually look. I see my current appearance as temporary, as a skin I will eventually shed somehow. I often tell myself that there is another me, somewhere hidden inside of me, who is better, who will appear if I make the necessary changes to my body (i.e. become thin, change my nose, change my lips, have a breast reduction) and suddenly everything will feel okay and I’ll finally be my true self. I’ll be appropriately ~feminine~, finally. A proper girl.

Little girls are missing school for weeks at a time because they can’t afford pads or tampons. Women and girls are suffering and dying in menstrual huts. Women are banned from their places of worship while they’re on their period, because they’re deemed unholy and impure and unclean. Our periods are used against us by men all over the world as an excuse as to why we wouldn’t be fit to be world leaders. And yet here you are, Mr. White Guy, thinking you can just throw on a fucking skirt and claim that not only are you a “woman” simply because you say so, but also that you experience menstruation- the single most important thing (second only to childbirth) that men have been exploiting for the past several millennia as a means to oppress women and maintain the patriarchy.

Judit has defeated numerous other chess legends, such as Anatoly Karpov, Viswanathan Anand, and Boris Spassky, all former world chess champions. She has even won a match against Magnus Carlsen, who is the current world chess champion as of 2021. When I tell you this woman is a beast I mean she is RUTHLESS.

Famously, in 1994, during a match with Judit Polgar, Garry Kasparov cheated, taking back a move after realising it was losing, even though this is very much against the rules of chess. At the time, Judit was only 17. Imagine being so good at age 17 that you make the world champion cheat!

Anyways. Stan chess legend Judit Polgar because she is a beast!!!!!

And, their sister Sofia Polgar, is ALSO a chess international master! Meaning that all three Polgar sisters are chess masters!
