Your husband was looking for something at your beach bags, but you didn’t look too much into it. That was until he almost slapped your thigh with his - for some reason - wet hands. Getting startled by it, you finally understood what he was looking for.

I held back to release on his birthday, so happy Jin day!
Food was how you and Seokjin got together, it was your greatest bond. And you got to taste his favorite foods, not only from his hometown but from all around South Korea. Now it was his time to try your favorite foods.
You could go to a nice restaurant and eat good soul food from there, but cooking these dishes yourself was part of what makes it special, so you decided to cook for him while he was at work.
“Oh my God, what smells so good in this house?” Jin asked as soon as he entered your apartment.
“I cooked for you!” you smiled one he came to your view “Some ingredients were difficult to find but I managed to find most of them”
He hugged you tight and twirled you around in his arms, placing a kiss on your lips as soon as your feet were back on the floor. “Hi, honey” he said sweetly, his eyes never leaving yours.
“Hi...” you said back, almost without breath, not sure if you were dizzy from the kiss, from his stare, from the twirling, or all combined. “Let me fix you a plate” you removed yourself from his arms, not really wanting to.
He washed his hands and sat at the dinner table, waiting patiently for his plate. You had cooked some black eyed peas, collard greens, candied yams, fried chicken, and some peach cobbler for dessert. It was a big plate, but Jin was a big eater, so he didn’t mind.
“This fried chicken is the best, honey” He said, trying not to talk too much with his full mouth
“Oh, yeah? Better than Koren fried chicken?” you asked teasing him. He stops to think and you could see his mind wandering through his face.
“I’m not sure, we’re gonna have to make a contest or something”
After finishing dessert, he was breathing heavily with his hands on his belly. The smile on his face, while he looked at you, was to either make a joke or just a loving gaze, you had trouble trying to decipher.
“What?” you asked
“You're going to leave me… what is it again? Dummy thick?"
“Oh no, you did not!” you put your hands on your mouth to stop laughing.

you were laying down in your bed alone stareing at the ceiling unable to sleep which is how you spend most nights nowadays. you spent the whole night tossing and turning trying to find a comfortable position to sleep in but none of them were good enough for you. getting tired of doing nothing your turn to your side and let out a sigh while picking up your phone and dialing your boyfriends number. "hello..." he answered almost immediately in that sleepy voice you always loved to hear. "is everything alright?" you lied there for a minute before responding "I can't sleep Shinsou..." you heard him groan over the phone before speaking again "I'm coming over" and with that he hang up. you knew he had a key to your house so you turned to your side and waited for him to arrive falling into a light asleep in the process.. you felt the bed dip behind you and rise again "scoot over" he said in his raspy voice that you love. you rolled over to look at your boyfriend you were going to say something but before you can he immediately pulls you closer to him, wraps his hand around your waist, and pulls you into his chest while kissing your forehead lightly. "hmmm~" he hums in your ear while rubbing your back lovingly. he doesn't even have to say anything to you just his embrace alone makes you forget about all your problems and washes away all of your worries.. you truly loved him. as he hums little songs in your ear, gently kisses your forehead, and holds you close to him never letting you go you eventually fall asleep happy in his arms. you wake up to the sun shining on you and Shinsou with his hands still wrapped around you. you think to yourself about how lucky you are to have someone like him in your life and fall back asleep wanting to get as much sleep as you possibly can.
