Sans was doing…well nothing actually. He was simply loitering. It what he tended to do well visiting different Timelines if he wasn’t talking to anyone. He hadn’t had too much on the agenda. He thought he might walk into a store and by himself a snack or something.

While he had been wandering around the store looking for anything he’d really want to be, like ketchup perhaps. He did find a purple, dinosaur, lizard? monster. He couldn’t tell. Though what he could tell was that she was exactly planning on buying anything. 

He didn’t mean to stare her down too hard, despite his job, he didn’t want too judge her too harshly on the spot. He didn’t know what she was going through, maybe she had a good reason. He didn’t really care too much, but after she knocked the whole shelf down, he couldn’t just ignore her.

“jumpy, huh?” He chuckled. “lucky i don’t work here kiddo. might be in some trouble.”

Despite her expression, Susie still felt incredibly tense. Even though Sans confirmed he didn’t work there, she was always on guard. People could be weird as all hell in this town. 

As a precaution, she put her hands in her pockets with utmost placidity... then dumped all of her would-be stolen goods onto the pile that had already formed. There, problem solved. No theft, no problem.

She had managed a somewhat decent landing, but apparently stealth wasn’t a factor in this multiverse travel. She had crossed the path of a familiar looking monster, but due to their expression, they weren’t any she had met before.

“Um…hi, d-didn’t mean to get in your way,” she says, giving out a nervous laugh before folding her wings behind her back. “Multiverse jumping i-is hard to handle sometimes.”

Okay, she was getting more of a handle on the situation now with that small explanation. Just some simple multiverse jumping. You know — SIMPLE.

So few interesting events occurred in this town. Susie couldn’t help but be enthralled by this suddenly-appearing stranger.

[ the gelatin wiggles, in thought.]

[ this stranger just kicked them, hard. hard enough to knock some loose Hit Points off.]

[ curiously, their foot stuck fast, engulfed in the roiling mass of her body.]

* … . .

[ the mass seemed to suck in the leg, only to reject it, the next moment. Sour, sweaty, boot foot flavor. thankfully, not a nice cream flavor.]

* eugh!

[ moldyprincess squeaked out.]

* beast.

[ it practically hissed in slime-tinged english.]

[ the jelly puddled, retreating away from the monster who just might continue to kick it.]

[ a long-haired covered face stared back at the monster, only visible “eye” a mixture of fear and ire.]

Susie stumbled back, dropping to the ground as if it was her first attempt to walk. That was unpleasant, at best. 

Sweeping hair out of her face to look up at her foe, she saw some being raise itself from the slime pile. Its anger was strikingly palpable amidst the tense atmosphere. As she commonly did, Susie had only acted out of boredom, but...

That was a bit of an inane excuse to a creature that you just assaulted.

i lost my muse really bad. that, and the climate of this fandom was really disheartening. (i wish we could be nicer to each other regarding headcanons).

short story, yes. i have a PILE of drafts to do on here & my spades, but i’m gonna start getting through them this weekend.
