#1DProjectHome This is what Home means to me!! Home gave me so many opportunities, and made me realize you can achieve anything if you work hard for it, and have a little patience. I created a Home project back in October and as I was promoting it I found that two lovely girls created 1D Project Home, so after talking with them I became an owner of 1D Project Home. I gave my campaign account to my friend to use as her Twitter. Social media is so amazing to help get the word out about something, but with that said, it doesn't happen over night- most of the time. I found this out during a lot of frustration to try to get the campaign to take off so to speak. 1D Podcast talked about my campaign which was so cool! The campaign wasn't really taking off though, and I kinda took a break from it for a few months shortly after the Podcast aired. I was in tears, literally, when I saw the CelebMix article about the campaign for the first time. I noticed I was getting a lot of notifications on the campaign page which I thought was a bit odd (but wonderful!), so I went on Twitter and saw the article early in the morning (I live in NY). I scared one of my good friends Brianna when I practically screamed and started crying shoving my phone at her on our school bus. It was such a surreal moment that something I put my mind to was starting to be recognized. I believe it was two days after the CelebMix article was released was when I saw MaximumPop published an article about the campaign. I was going through the #1DProjectHome when I saw it, but at first I didn't realize it was an article based on 1D Project Home because I wasn't expecting it at all! I ran out into my living room at 10 o'clock at night close to tears telling my mom and step dad another article was published about my campaign. This started to really get the word out. Shortly after, I decided to make a Flipagram for the boys and our fandom. I had fans send in loads of stuff for it! I wanted the boys to see how much we loved the song, and to show how the fandom is our home so to speak. It was also a great way to promote the song, which is what the campaign is for, getting Home the recognition it deserves in all senses!! This whole experience taught me so much and made we work really hard for something I wanted to achieve! I want to thank the fans, CelebMix, MaximumPop, Sophie, Heather, and One Direction, and of course the fans for giving me this amazing opportunity. Home will always have a special place in my heart! The campaign is no where near over, and I can't wait to see what we can accomplish together in the future!! Lots of love, Jeanmarie

I know there are lots of fan projects to get "Home" the recognition it deserves!! It's amazing!! Guys we all want the same goal!! I want to give a huge shoutout to Project Home for the amazing work they have done!! It's brilliant to see all of our ideas in our own campaigns in a way come together for the common goal. We all want "Home" to get recognition so you know what let's do that! Let's make these campaigns so much bigger than the brilliant No Control project! @projecthome2016
