Finding out people actually hate Holden Caulfield is an absolute news flash for me, this dude was so relatable and apparently now hes nearly in the top 3 nightmare males.

Holden Caulfield, you are my best friend.
so i'm talking to some real bitch called Ella, and she has really pissed me off at this point, i don't really know her of course, the conversation is too deep for me to really know her, shes just a random.
So we moved on from the conversation and i'm still a tad salty, i just hold grudges real good. We are in the conversation of books and she asks "so what's your most recent read?" and i'm like "the catcher in the rye." I finished that one not too long ago, one of the best books ever for sure, its so relatable, Holden to be specific, he's relatable. She starts going on about how she wants to read it and i'm like, "yeh sure, its a good book." then she replies "yeh, its certainly on my list" so here i start feeling real pecky. like i want to peck at her a bit, so i'm like "yeh, i bet it is." and i then continue, "you should certainly move it up the list." and shes like "you think so?" and i responded with "yeh, of course, it would certainly be useful to you, it would teach you alot of things." now it may not seem like much of an insult, i mean its not, i'm just glad i could at least understand what i was aiming at, i was aiming at the fact maybe she would learn about how shes a goddamn phoney like all the guys in the book Holden sees, also how annoying people like her are, maybe a little insight into Holden's mind would really give her a new perspective on herself.
Of course she wouldn't get it, i mean, when she goes to read it she will come to understand that being told the catcher in the rye is something you could learn from, usually isn't meant in a nice way, i mean sure, you do actually learn a ton of cool stuff from it, but the entire idea of the book or at least the message you leave with after reading sure has to knock your confidence if its something people think you could learn from. and just now shes sleeping in Greece with not a clue in the world of what i even meant by that. Holden Caulfield, god i love you.
