1. Jaykyle (or is it kylejay if its bottom jason?)
2. Primehood
The reason? I just freaking love Jason having strong men to have his back.
Kyle is a freaking lantern and I think people that are not lantern fans, underestimated how strong they really are. And SBP is just so damn strong that's not even for question.
I like wally too, but that's freaking rare and I just feel that wally is already perfect with Linda. But, if I found stuff shipping him with Jason then I won't say no.
I also prefer that he date in his age group or dick cause he has enough issues with older men (age group bruce or slade)
Still, I like batcest either dickjay, timjay or damijay. Especially if either dick, tim or dami is obsessed with jason. Give me a protective dick, stalker and morally ambiguous tim and possessive dami or either one or all of it. Dick defending Jason, Tim willing to do anything for him and Dami waiting patiently till he is older to claim his beloved.

Kyle brings Jason to Oa. At first, Jason spends most of his time cooking, cleaning, making sure Kyle actually rests, and patching him up whenever he returns from a mission and also just relaxing and reading books he hasn't time to before.
Kyle is worried in the beginning. He's away on missions so often, and he wonders if Jason will feel lonely or out of place on Oa. But Jason just fits right in.
Jason socializes easily with all the different species, even starts learning their languages, and is constantly trading recipes and books with others. Before Kyle even realizes it, Jason has somehow built his own little community there. Jason is blooming, and Kyle is so, so happy for him.
Kyle doesn't know how long Jason will stay on Oa, or if he'll eventually decide to leave, but whatever Jason chooses, Kyle will support him. Because Jason has proven, once again, that he can thrive in any environment. He just needs a little support and Kyle would be eternally honoured to be the support that Jason needs.
I don’t like talking about this but a lot of you have fucking lost the plot. How could you possibly derive that Tim was a victim in Jason’s death because the adults around Tim was talking shit bout the dead kid?
How could Tim the one who’s still alive possibly be the one “true” victim of Jason’s death? Please a lot of y’all use the argument that since nobody knew Jason was going to come back to life (utterly irrelevant by the way unless you genuinely believe that a person’s humanity ends the day they take their last breath) that Jason shouldn’t be viewed as the one “true” victim of his own death. Like hello?? Are you hearing yourselves???
Tim’s superiority complex comes from his inferiority complex, simple as that. It doesn’t matter that the adults around him was grieving and “forcing” (referencing Jason because he literally just died?) him to be better than Jason- because even if they hadn’t Tim would still believe he is better than Jason- his tragedy is not that Jason died his tragedy is that he is terrified of being the “lesser” replacement. That doesn’t make him a victim of Jason’s death.
This reeks of a point I’ve brought up before, you infantilise Tim because he is the ideal victim. He takes his raging inferiority complex and convinces himself essentially that he is better than Jason because he would never die like that. He uses the trauma of Jason’s death to push his own ego. Or in other words be “better.” He is the ideal victim of Jason’s death. Which shouldn’t be a sentence I have to say. But ALOT of you think that. Consciously or not a lot of you translate the tragedy of Jason’s death into a foot note into Tim’s development and it pisses me the fuck off.
Jason on the other hand the one who died came back angry, and to a lot of people that is somehow a fundamental flaw. (Of course that requires actively ignoring the systems that failed him and his justified anger towards them, but that would require viewing Jason as a human and obviously we can’t do that! Not if we want to antagonise him!) that his trauma and in the same vein his anger is “unideal” hence he is an unideal victim of his own demise. And obviously when he is not acting the way you expect a victim of a traumatic event to act you reassign who’s most affected by it to make him seem irrational- even more antagonistic to push your own biased narrative
I’m begging yall. Read the comics with your eyes OPEN, please.
Does Star Sapphire Jason's massive chest bounce when he moves? Or the ring keeps them in place to not distract any further others? (Dick, is Dick who is distracted)
Your art is so magical.
Ofc Jason has the jiggle physics worth of a hentai
Just saying if the bats would speak with their mind and not their fists or their biased negative assumptions or lying their ass about their true attentions to Jason then Jason would treat them better.

So, there was another straightforward example of Dick victim blaming Jason, but this one was more subtle. I explained both of them before, but I understand that the way this situation was described make it wasn't entirely clear. I tried to clarify it in my previous post, but it seems I didn't quite succeed, so I thought I'd give it another shot.
D: Jason wasn't me. I was a trained acrobat. I could think quickly in perilous situations. But why did you let him become Robin before he was ready?!?
B: Don't you dare blame me for Jason's death! Don't you dare!
Okay, so my point is, in this situation, Dick was blaming both Bruce and Jason for Jason's death. I know, I know it's more clear that Dick was blaming Bruce in this situation, but he's also implying that Jason's death is because of his lack of skill, or because he "wasn't ready to become Robin," and that is victim blaming.
"Jason wasn't me. I was a trained acrobat. I could think quickly in perilous situations." Do you think that this is very unecessary that Dick mentioned something like this? Why is he talking about how Jason wasn't him, how he was a trained actobat and could think quickly in perilous situation?
"Jason wasn't me. I was a trained acrobat." This can be translate into "Jason's not Dick, and he's not a trained acrobat." Combine this to "I could think quickly in perilous situations." This sentence is basically compare Jason and Dick, saying that Jason is not as good as Dick, or he lacks the skills that Dick has, or he can't think quickly in perilous situations like Dick does.
Then you combine this to his next sentence "Why did you let him become Robin before he was ready?"
-> The "why did you let him" part is Dick blaming Bruce for Jason's death, yes, but it's also Dick indicating that the reason for Jason's death was because of 1) Jason wasn't ready to become Robin 2) Bruce let him become Robin even though he wasn't ready.
The line Dick spoke was a rhetorical question. He wasn't genuinely asking why Bruce let Jason become Robin, rather, he is implying that Bruce shouldn't have let it happen, or that if he hadn't, this situation would have been avoided.
For example, you can easily translate "Why did you let him become Robin before he was ready?" to "You shouldn't let him become Robin when he was not ready." The "why did you let him" part is similar to the "you shouldn't let him" part, they both indicate that something bad happened as a consequence for Bruce's action, which is "letting Jason become Robin."
The bad consequence that this sentence refered to, in this situation, is Jason's death. Both Dick and Bruce were talking about Jason's death from the beginning of the conversation even though they didn't refered to it out loud and straightforward (not until Bruce yelled at Dick not to blame him for Jason's death.) Jason's death is also the reason Dick came to Bruce to talk.
Or, to put it more simply, you can read it ("But why did you let him become Robin before he was ready?!?") as "If you didn't let him become Robin before he was ready to, then he wouldn't have die." With this, the reasons for Jason's death were claimed to (or implied to) be "he wasn't ready to be Robin" and "you let him become Robin." A part is blaming Bruce, a part is blaming Jason. That's why Bruce yelled at Dick after that for him not to blame him for Jason's death.
So, the full sentence of Dick is saying/implying that the reasons for Jason's death is 1) because he was not as good as Dick 2) because of his lack of skills 3) because he wasn't ready to become Robin 4) because even though Jason wasn't ready, Bruce let him become Robin and that is victim blaming.
To say or imply that the victims hold responsible, in whole or in parts of the crimes that've been commited against them, is victim blaming.
"But nivora128, I still think that this is more like Dick held Bruce responsibility for Jason's death..." I hear you, but I'll make a quick example for you to see. If Dick was blaming Bruce and Bruce only, all he had to say is "Why did you leave Jason with the Joker?!??!?" Didn't have to mention that Jason was not ready to become Robin, didn't have to mention that Jason wasn't him...
Do you see the differences? (please tell me you see it) Let's check this out:
"Why did you leave Jason with the Joker ?!?!?" -> This indicate that Joker is dangerous and can cause harm to Jason, this indicate that is Bruce to blame for Jason's death because his action leaving him behind with Joker, stressing on Bruce's choice and Joker's harm.
But anyways, what Dick chose to say is:
"Jason wasn't me. I was a trained acrobat. I could think quickly in perilous situations. But why did you let him become Robin before he was ready?!?" -> This is stressing on Jason's lack of skills as reason for his death, and also Bruce's choice. Of course it appears to be more like he's blaming Bruce for "letting Jason" but the aspect of "Jason wasn't ready to become Robin" and "Jason wasn't good enough" are the reasons for his death was there too, the victim blaming is so heavily implied I want to cry....
Because this is, what? What's the purpose of saying that, what was he trying to say here ? Saying if Bruce let Jason became Robin when he was ready, then he wouldn't have died? Saying if Jason was Dick, he wouldn't have die? Saying if he was an trained acrobat or if he thinks quicker in perilous situations, he wouldn't have die? Saying if Bruce let him become Robin when he was ready, he wouldn't fall into that situation and get killed by the Joker? He's indicating that Jason, the victim, could have done something to stop the crime that been commited against him. If Jason had been good enough, if he had been strong enough, if he had been Dick, if he had been properly trained, if he had been ready to become Robin... then that murder wouldn't have happened. He could have handled it, if he was good enough! He could have beaten the Joker, if he was strong enough! He could have stopped the bomb, if he could think quickly in that situation! He could have survived, if he was ready to become Robin!
To imply that a person experienced harmful or abusive behaviour like it was a result of something they did or said, instead of placing the responsibility where it belongs: on the person who harmed them is victim blaming. To say that Jason's death was because of anything he did, because of any traits that he carries, because of his actions, because of his lack of skills, because he was not good enough or strong enough, to say or imply that anything he did or said is something that lead to his own premise instead of Joker's action of murdering him, is victim blaming.
"But nivora128..." No wait, please stop calling my name like that, you're going to embarrass me. Okay, let me point this out for you then, how much do you think Dick know about Jason's death? Obviously he couldn't know about it any more than Bruce did. Maybe he knew about Joker and the bomb, but that's all. So, why do you think he claimed that that situation was because of Jason's lack of skills? He didn't have enough evidences and knowlegde about the whole situation, he couldn't possibly know the clear, detailed circumstances of Jason's death (Bruce hadn't told him a thing) and he certainly didn't know about Sheila at all, he's lack of evidences, and his first reaction is to say that "Jason wasn't me, he wasn't an acrobatic, he wasn't ready to be Robin, why did you let him?" 💀
To conclude that someone "wasn't good enough" simply because they died is an unfounded inference, and using that to hold them accountable is victim blaming. Also, Jason's situation was also included action of other person and unexpected or uncontrollable factors (Sheila's betrayal.) Dick makes an unfounded assumption that Jason lacked the skills or competence to handle the situation that led to his death based on a lack of information about the incident...
Concluding that the reason for the victim's death is because of their lack of capacity simply because they died, without any supporting evidence, is victim blaming.
Also, Jason was good enough! He was trained properly! It's not like Bruce threw him out fighting crimes being unprepared! He was trained for six months and Bruce said that "Jason took to the training like a fish to water. He was quick and intelligent. It was like training Dick again." He told Jason that he and Dick is "really two of a kind"!
So, what do you think about that? Is it clear enough? You actknowledge that this is victim blaming now, right?
What, you don't think so? Really? Okay, I give up now. I tried my best.
You think I'd say that :)? Come back here and tell me which part of this that you don't understand let me try again let me explain this again I'll defend Jaybin even if that's the last thing I'll do I'll defend him until I'm dead until my last breath I will work for a furture that I no longer hear "Jason wasn't victim blamed!" I'll defend the heck outta him I swear 😭
Kitty Jason who has sensitive tails and ears so he always covers them up. Then there's wolf Dick who just loves teasing Jason ears and tails until his precious kitty cries because he's too sensitive.
I recently found this song and it just reminded me of Jason. Maybe I would elaborate more on the lyrics and parts and how it reminds me of Jason but haven't got the time to rearrange my thoughts yet. But yeah, feel free to listen to it and give your thoughts
Victim blaming can be defined as someone saying, implying, or treating a person who has experienced harmful or abusive behaviour like it was a result of something they did or said, instead of placing the responsibility where it belongs: on the person who harmed them.
Robin (1993) #0
This is victim blaming. To say that "Jason openly defied Batman's orders and that's what killed him" is victim blaming.
Instead of this, Dick could just simply say that "The Joker killed him", but he said "Jason was reckless, he defied Batman's orders and went solo against the Joker and that's what killed him" and that is victim blaming.
And I will say this again and again and a thousand times more if I have to, but: Jason didn't go after the Joker. He didn't go into the warehouse knowing that Joker was in there. He didn't recklessly go after the Joker. He went into the warehouse because he was following his mom. He was lied to and was betrayed.
New Teen Titans 1988 #55
This is another example of Jason being victim blamed for his own death, and yes, I will break it down for you all. For context, this happened after Dick found out about Jason's death and came to find Bruce.
B: I didn't expect to see you.
D: I heard about Jason. I'm really sorry, Bruce...
This is their conversation after that:
D: Come on, Bruce, talk. Don't turn your back on me. I'm here... now.
B: You were lucky. When you didn't listen to me, your injuries weren't fatal. Of course, by the time I properly trained you...
Dick came to Bruce to talk about Jason's death. When Bruce brought up this subject about how Dick was "lucky" and that his injuries weren't "fatal" when he didn't listen to him, he was implying that "You were lucky when you didn't listen to me, but Jason wasn't. When he didn't listen to me, it got him killed."
He was implying that Dick got injured before because he didn't listen to him, and Jason died because he didn't listen to Bruce. This is victim blaming.
Now let me ask you a question, do you think that Bruce was victim blaming Dick when he said that Dick was injured because he didn't listen to Bruce? Do you think it's okay to say that "Dick got injured because he didn't listen to Bruce," do you think that this is true and a completely normal thing to say and is totally not victim blaming at all? Do you think it's fine when you hear someone says that "Dick got hurt because he didn't listen to Bruce"?
If you can actknowledge that that was victim blaming, you can actknowledge that Jason was victim blamed when someone said that "Jason was killed because he didn't listen to Bruce." It's not that hard.
D: Jason wasn't me. I was a trained acrobat. I could think quickly in perilous situations. But why did you let him become Robin before he was ready?!?
In this sentence, Dick was saying that Bruce held responsible for Jason's death, because he let Jason become Robin before he was ready, but this is also implying that Jason's death was caused because of Jason's lack of skill, or because Jason wasn't ready to become Robin. To say that Jason wasn't Dick or an acrobat, implying that he died because he wasn't as good as Dick is victim blaming. To imply that Jason died because he "wasn't ready to become Robin", is victim blaming.
To say that Jason's death was because of anything he did, because of any traits that he carries, because of his actions, because of his lack of skills, because he was not good enough or strong enough, to say or imply that anything he did or said is something that lead to his own premise instead of Joker's action of murdering him, is victim blaming. To say or imply that the victims hold responsible, in whole or in parts of the crimes that've been commited against them, is victim blaming.
Jaybin being small and Dick is just excited because his little brother is gonna grow up to be a fine man, maybe shorter or the same height as he is but gosh, seeing how cute Jaybin is, Dick just cannot wait to see how cute he still is when he grows up.
Jason coming back and just being this bombshell of a man and Dick always need to think about nice thoughts and not fucking Jason on the nearest surface because he is nice like that. It should be illegal how that adorable kid from before just grows up to be this hot. Maybe Dick should flirt with Jason a little bit, it's a crime to not do that while in front of this masterpiece. Oh shit, Jason's blushing. Damn, he is still cute, so not fair.

People are shaped by their backgrounds, and coming from different backgrounds and facing different hardships shapes people in different ways. We'll never truly understand someone unless we've lived their exact life, but we can at least acknowledge their experiences and I think I already made this point in some of my previous post. I also think that's one of the fundamental issues in Jason and Bruce's relationship.
Jason is a complex character. You can't just slap labels like crazy, vengeful, angry, or hateful onto him and call it a day. Bruce doesn't really acknowledge that. Instead, he tries to enforce his own morals and rules onto Jason, which isn't fair at all because Jason doesn't do the same to Bruce.
The no killing rule is something many people have already talked about. It's a rule Bruce wants Jason to follow, but Jason never forces anyone else to kill. Even in UtRH, if you read it carefully, Jason isn't asking Bruce to kill the Joker. He's asking Bruce to let Jason himself to kill the Joker, or to stop him. That's it.
There's nothing wrong with Jason wanting the person who murdered him to be killed, and there's also nothing wrong with Bruce refusing to kill anyone. Those are both valid beliefs to have.
What isn't fair is Bruce trying to force his beliefs onto Jason. He shouldn't hurt Jason simply because they disagree. You can't force someone to become like you when their entire life has been fundamentally different from yours, especially when that 'lesson' comes at the cost of hurting them.
I have this situation in my mind where Jaybin meets with Jason. It could happen through some multiverse or timeline shenanigans or anything that throws them together.
Jaybin takes one look at Jason and immediately notices how tired he is. Not just physically tired, but the kind of tired that settles into your bones. He looks at Jason for a long moment before asking quietly,
"Seems like Bruce isn't the dad we thought he'd be, huh?"
Jason gives him a small smile. "No," he says softly. "He isn't anymore."
Jaybin raises an eyebrow. "Oh? So... he was? Before?"
Jason lets out a quiet laugh, more bitter than amused. "Yeah. Yeah, he was. Once upon a time."
Jaybin falls silent for a moment, trying to fit that answer into everything he knows. "So... we're back to taking care of ourselves, huh?" he asks. "Just like before."
Jason looks at the kid in front of him. So young. So familiar. "Yeah," he admits. "And... sorry to disappoint you, but as you can see, I'm not exactly sure I'm doing a very good job."
Jaybin frowns immediately, like the idea itself is ridiculous. "I think you're doing a good job."
Jason blinks.
"You've survived, haven't you?" Jaybin continues. "You're still alive. Maybe your life is horrible right now, but we'll survive."
He shrugs, like it's the most obvious thing in the world. "We survived after Dad left. We survived after Mom overdosed and died. We survived when we had nothing. So we'll survive this too."
Jason doesn't answer right away. He just stands there, thinking. When he finally looks back at Jaybin, he sees it; the fire still burning in those young eyes. The stubborn determination to survive. To keep living, no matter what. Somewhere deep inside him, something warm stirs. Something that almost feels like hope.
Jason smiles, this one softer than before. "Okay," he says quietly. "We'll survive."
Then he pauses for a little while and continue. "And maybe... maybe one day we won't just survive."
His smile grows just a little. "We'll live. We'll build the life we deserve."
Jaybin grins back without hesitation. "Yeah," he says. "That sounds better."
I need Tim fans on twitter and tiktok to stfu please. Really. No hate to Tim fans. Go love your little guy. That's cool. I don't get it because I haven't read much Tim, and what I have read has just been plain white bread, but you do you! Have fun with your guy!
But jfc what did Jason ever do to you.
hE sLiT TiM's tHrOaT— No he didn't
hE trIeD tO kiLL tIm— No he didn't, except in BftC, which was justified because TIM ATTACKED HIM WITH A CROWBAR FIRST
hE tRaUmaTisEd— Shut up shut up shut upppp. If Tim can be traumatised by an unstable eighteen year old who didn't ever put him in any real danger, Tim should not be a vigilante. Read Seeing Red. Then read it again. Then a third time, and write an essay on how Jason has a pattern of trying to teach vigilantes younger than him how to not die by being the aggressor in a safe environment. Then read the actual Teen Titans issue with the fight. And again. And a third time. And write an essay on it.
And omg don't get me started on 'the best Robin' debates. There is no objective best Robin. None. If the title must be given, it's to Dick Grayson because he invented the goddamn legacy.
BuT tIm hAd tHe fIrSt sOlo— Don't care
BuT tIm bRoUgHt eVeRytHiNg tHat iS uSeD fOr rObiN iN aDaPtaTioNs— lmao what, trousers? A bo? Can't be personality, surely, Tim barely has one of those. Also Jason wore trousers first. And also the Red Robin suit first btw.
BuT tIm iS tHe sMarTesT— Don't care. Y'all say that and then diminish every single other member's intelligence because otherwise Tim isn't so obviously the smartest. Please. Jason took over Wayne Industries' R&D and the underworld of Gotham without anyone noticing. Dick Grayson has always been smart. Damian is smart. Stephanie was literally the only one figuring out her dad's clues and spoiling them (haha) so Batman and Robin — the same supposed 'smart' Robin btw — could stop him.
Again. If you love Tim, love him! That's cool! Don't put other characters down for his sake. Don't attack other characters to prop up your special little boy (who is a grown man canonically btw). And leave Jason tf alone.
I always see fics where Jason is the one who opens up his space; his safe place, his home to other people. But I'd actually love to see more stories where Jason is the one being invited somewhere else instead.
Maybe not even somewhere personal, but just a public or semi private place. A quiet cafe or diner where there aren't too many people and no one really pays attention to them. Or maybe just a walk through the park, a trip to the beach, or a hike. They could even go to the theatre or the library and simply exist together.
I do understand the significance of Jason inviting people over, or even just tolerating them in his space. It's meant to show that he's opening up to them and maybe to show how private he actually is and how he prefers to stay at his own place where he knows everything about it.
But I also think there's something meaningful about starting in a public place or at someone else's home. In those situations, Jason always has the option to leave if he gets uncomfortable. If they're in his own home, though, he can't exactly walk away because it's his space. Instead, the other person would have to leave, and in a lot of fics I've read, they don't.
Because of that, it sometimes feels a little one sided to me. It also feels like the other characters have a lot of leverage over Jason, simply because they've been allowed to see his living space; how he personalizes it, or maybe how he doesn't personalize it at all. Being in someone's home lets you learn so much about them without them saying a word.
Of course, I know that if Jason truly didn't want them there, he could make them leave. But I also acknowledge that Jason is pretty soft when it comes to 'family'.
I don't want this to come across as discrediting anyone's writing. I just wanted to share my perspective because I genuinely enjoy stories where Jason has soft, warm hearted moments with people in his own home. I'd just love to see more stories where that trust is built somewhere else first, before they eventually reach that point.
Jason is a Blue Lantern and he now has to work with the Greens. And that’s the beginning of Jason and Kyle slowly repairing their relationship.
Of course, they bicker a lot and sometimes one of them just storms off because they can’t stand each other. But being forced to work together, they slowly start to get to know each other and somehow begin to understand each other too.
Inadvertently, Kyle falls in love with the blue lantern and when he starts drawing until he’s filled a few sketchbooks with nothing but sketches of Jason, he finally acknowledges his feelings. He definitely has it hard for the other lantern.
But the problem is, Jason is oblivious as hell. Kyle doesn’t understand how someone as brilliant as Jason Todd can be so oblivious to Kyle’s mooning eyes at him (Guy’s words).
Still, Kyle won’t give up. He will make sure to at least confess his feelings to Jason, maybe see if that finally gets through. And he does. Kyle tells Jason that he likes him.
But Jason only smiles or smirks or even laughs and tells Kyle that’s a good joke. Or that, of course, he loves Kyle too because Kyle is practically his partner with how often they’re paired together.
Kyle is frustrated because Jason won’t take him seriously at all. Still, he won’t give up. He is a Green Lantern and his will is indomitable. He will definitely make Jason see his feelings.

I think it's kinda confusing when I find a supposedly Jason centric fic but then the author said that jason and Tim are their favourites. So it's like trying to make sense of all the things that are exaggerated for tim like the titans tower or damian trying to kill him or maybe just pit madness jason is so crazy and tim understands that. And I was like okay, Jason has to apologise for the titans tower then that's it? Tim doesn't have to apologise to jason then? For all his bad talk a dead kid or supposedly erasing Jason's robin? Ermm? I'm not so sure anymore...
I do have a certain dislike for bruce and this is so out of context but the only bruce pairing that I accept are batlantern because I love how their relationship works.
