The Phantom of the opera is thereeeee

That was the last work for this semester in uni. The task was to make an architectural landscape,so I chose to make linocut with tram depot in Lviv:)

I really hate to paint clothes….

This diptych is dedicated to ukrainian artists Ada Rybachuk and Volodymyr Melnichenko ,and their art works.

Each of the works also reflects the moods of the characters Christine and Erik. The first work is dedicated to Erik, his inner world, and the things connected to him in the novel. The second work is part of Christine's storyline, where she escapes to the roof away from Erik, yet his shadow always follows her.
