○ experiencing snow/ing for the 1st time (in ut) , and dealing with the everyday of snow ❄️

○ I often get sad in the summer because the hills in california turn yellow, but I got to see it in its lush green state in an aerial view for the 1st time when I flew back home

the winter's end is my favorite time of the year . right when the buds start to poke out of trees and people start planting and germinating their seeds for their garden :3

highlights

• spotted the bison 🦬

• experienced real snow for the 1st time !

• free breakfast @ the inn

• deciding not to visit antelope canyon until the next day and being blessed with seeing the whole island covered in snow

• radio was very limited, so enjoyed the country music and views

• off season, non crowded days at the state parks are the besttt

bittersweet feelings ~

thinking of some of the childhood toys I had after watching the barbie movie . hoping all my toys got a toy story 4 woody ending/life ~

• my "ken" was a buzz light year that my dad found somewhere , and it definitely was treated like a movie ken 😹

• mulan doll had flatter and bigger feet than barbie and she couldnt fit into barbie's dresses, and that's when I knew barbie was not a good example of real women proportions .

• I looked forward to the sunday papers (when that was a thing), because I could clip all the grocery items and electronics/games from the ads and use them as toys .

finally did a bucket list item (30 before thirty) ! after patiently waiting for the rain to come back to california for 3+ years

life notes ~

• *suddenly* got very interested in basketball over this weekend

• BEEF

• original chicken sandwich at burger king - I went to burger king 2x in 1 day and there's no regrets (also beef 👀)

• finally pulled out the cam and 50mm f/1.8 lens.. the bokeh !! (but not so great for scenic shots)

• considering a hiking spree before the state dries up

thoughts ~

• I've been valuing my privacy more & I think partly because people are scary and also partly because social media has gone kind of wild . I think from time to time that I just want to disappear from the social media space foreverr

• settling with the idea that I can't be really good @ 1 thing and not getting upset about it . what I should do is follow my brain and just drive into the thing I'm really interested in at the moment and enjoying that time vs distracting myself with failing to do this and failing to do that .

I don't see my friends often but I'm grateful for all the time that we do get to spend together .

- free workshops with free foodies

- watching yo gabba gabba with 29/30 y/o's (jack black episode !)

- eat, nap, repeat

- 🍾 t&l's almost 1 year / late celebration of marriage / hiking to their engagement spot

- getting frands to watch a YouTube channel for canned sardine reviews, hehehe

- finding out how much they love tom yum

- looking forward to showers 'cause the water pressure was perfecttt

off to the next adventure ✈️
