Les jours tristes

I always feel like old parts of me are dying every day, and I must keep reinventing myself, the only thing is that sometimes it’s like I can’t keep up the pace and I am left empty

Am I the only one that literally can’t see any future like I am trying to build a career, something, yet everything seems so fragile and uncertain it makes me feel so anxious I could barf

what’s inside me never dies

I am trying to forget you but at night you’re still in my dreams

I watch the sunset alone on the shore, I am happy I tell myself, but the truth is I am holding back tears and so I wonder, is this what happiness look like? the consciousness that I am alive at this moment and everything I deeply love is dead, or dying, yet we are here now? like a small spark in the universe.  tomorrow is my birthday, and I hope it will be a beautiful day forever
