Spent ages writing a conversation bt a main character and a side character while avoiding the biggest conversation that needs to be had between the two mains.

Nothing like writing a 3k word chapter and realizing you still somehow missed 2/3 of the character and relationship building moments you were meant to progress in the first place. Like what the fuck is even in these 3,000 words? Just musings really.

I have a decent idea of what i want to do with this zubi multi-chapter world cup rpf but I keep getting bogged down in the writing and just like what scenes should be present tense or past tense or revisited by another character in past tense. And the fucking zubi/martín name usage of it all, which is hugely consequential bc i would rather be put to the rack than use epithets in my own work (except Omega/Alpha, I’m braindead for that one what can i say).
