What do people even put here?

The only times we see Lestat as he really is, without the lens of an unreliable narrator is when he’s a complete mess. He’s described to be this powerful, confident, heartless thing, but in reality he holds a lot more of his humanity than we are told. I think that that’s what made the end of IWTV so devastating. He’s just a broken man trying to hold onto himself.
