I headcannoned ever golden disc to be guardians of some sorts, they’ll basically protect you from enemy discs if you run into 1 of them.

Rune is the first guardian you’ll ever run into in JDAR, he’s also the ONLY guardian who doesn’t have a secondary (Secondary = opt GUN)
