So I saw on tiktok that Palestinian journalist, Bisan Owda, has called for a boycott of Spider-Man: Brand New Day because its producer, Avi Arad, has publicly supported the genocide of the Palestinian people and has defended Netanyahu
I’m also seeing that there are posts about it on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, but I’m not seeing any posts about it on Tumblr? Am I not looking up the right keywords in the search bar or are we all out of the loop?
(I can’t find the original post from Owda because I have the worst time navigating Instagram, but this link is from The Jamia Times on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/DblMMDKTyub/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ== )
[Image ID: Picture of a quote from Bisan Owda that reads: “Waiting for Zendaya and Tom Holland to say something about this maybe? We cannot separate art from accountability. Every ticket sold supports a production led by a producer who has publicly defended Israel’s war on Gaza. Boycott is one of the few peaceful tools we have to demand justice.” /End ID]
i already know there wont be anywhere near enough options but
what is your favourite tree🌲🌴🌳

i'm actually curious, what trinkets do you guys have on your keychains? 🗝️
Pretty dystopian to be campaigning for fundraisers to save the lives of your countrymen trying to survive genocide and the top trending topics on Tumblr is the most recent zionism and fascism American military industrial complex propaganda movie.
Also I don't think it's a coincidence the zionist producer teamed up with the shoot and cry propaganda character played by this guy:
To make a movie about how AI mass surveillance tech is good for society actually because it helps you eliminate the inhuman subversives.
My bestie told me people are calling him Palantir Parker right now on Twitter cuz of the movie.
Anyways Disney is a priority boycott target for the BDS movement! Don't watch any more Marvel movie trash, the MCU has been collaborating with the Pentagon to make Western imperialist propaganda since Iron Man 2008!
If you were going to spend money on tickets to see the movie, go send that money to Mona's mutual aid fund instead to help feed Palestinian refugees today! Your outrage should be translating into concrete actions to help Palestinians!

Starmer is rushing legislation through parliament that experts say threatens free speech, public interest journalism and international human
@isuggestrevolution do you have any ideas
alsoooooo one more thing but I’ve already seen two celebrities/public figures (Chelsea handler and Rosie O’Donnell) talk about how their doctors put them on glp1s without telling them what they were or what the medication was supposed to do. Chelsea handler said her doctor “hands it out to everybody” and Rosie O’Donnell said she had no idea that weight loss was a side effect and called her doctor in a panic because she lost weight so fast she thought it was cancer. NEVER let them distract you from the real enemy: the medical field that has systemically and often fatally dehumanized the fat people in its care for decades and whose obsession with classifying and pathologizing any sort of body it deems deviant has brought us to this moment in time

📍 From Gaza to Graduate School —
Day 1 | The Day I Graduated
This photo marks one of the happiest moments of my life. After years of studying Computer Systems Engineering—and after watching war interrupt so many plans—I finally saw these words: "Officially Bachelor in Computer Systems Engineering." It wasn't just a degree. It was proof that even when everything around me became uncertain, I could still hold on to one thing: Education. That day, I made a promise to myself: I wouldn't stop here. Today, that promise has become a Master's admission. But every journey has another mountain to climb, and mine is finding a way to continue. Over the next few days, I'd like to share my story—not just about the challenges I've faced, but about the hope that keeps me moving forward.
Thank you for being here. ❤️ If you'd like to support my Master's journey, you'll find my fundraiser below.

Day 2 — Why I Refused to Give Up
There were many moments when giving up would have been the easiest choice.
Classes were interrupted.
Electricity was unreliable.
Internet access disappeared for days.
The future felt uncertain more times than I can count.
More than once, I asked myself:
"Is it still worth continuing?"
Each time, my answer was the same.
Yes.
Not because it was easy.
But because I believed education was one of the few things that war could not take away from me.
That belief carried me through my bachelor's degree.
It led me to my Master's admission.
And today, it keeps me fighting to protect that opportunity.
Tomorrow, I'll share why graduating wasn't enough—and why I decided to create Isnad to support other students in Gaza.
Day 3 — Why I Started Isnad
There was a time when I couldn't change the reality around me.
But I believed I could help someone continue learning.
That belief led me to create Isnad, an educational initiative that supports students in Gaza through training, learning opportunities, and a community that encourages them not to give up.
Helping others reminded me why education matters.
And today, that same belief is what keeps me fighting for my own Master's journey.
Tomorrow, I'll share the moment I received my Master's admission—and why that exciting day quickly turned into my biggest challenge.
Day 4 — The Email That Changed Everything
There are moments you never forget.
One of them was opening an email that began with:
"Congratulations..."
After everything I had been through, I had finally been accepted into a Master's program.
For a few minutes, nothing else mattered.
Every late night.
Every obstacle.
Every moment I refused to give up...
It finally felt worth it.
But I soon realized something difficult.
Receiving admission was only the beginning.
Tomorrow, I'll share the biggest challenge that came immediately after that email—and why my journey is still far from over.
Day 5 — Getting Accepted Wasn't the Hardest Part
I thought getting accepted into a Master's program would be the hardest part of my journey. I was wrong. The hardest part came after the acceptance letter. I have already invested $600 from my own salary and savings, and thanks to the kindness of others, I'm getting closer to my goal. I'm doing everything I can because this dream is worth fighting for. Giving up has never been an option. Tomorrow, I'll share why this Master's degree means so much to me—and why I'm determined to see this journey through.
Day Six — The Final Chapter
Over the past five days, I have shared the details of my journey with you—from graduating in Gaza and refusing to give up, to founding the "Isnad" initiative, and finally, receiving my acceptance into a master’s program.
Today, I would like to conclude this series with one final goal.
I need to raise $150.
This is the amount I am asking this community to help me secure so I can finalize the registration fees for my master’s program.
We have seen before how even small donations of $5 or $7 can make a difference.
This is where my series ends, and—I hope—where the next chapter of my life begins.
If you have been following my story over the past few days, please help me complete this chapter—whether by donating or simply sharing this post so it reaches someone who can help.
Let’s finish what we started, together. ❤️
We already reached $35 toward the final goal!
$115 left.
Every $5 is genuinely moving this forward. If 23 more people gave $5, we’d reach the goal.
If you can’t donate, a reblog can help this reach someone who can.
We’re getting closer. Please help me finish this. ❤️
🚨 FINAL DAY — ONLY $115 LEFT
Today is the last day to complete my Master's registration. Only $115 stands between me and securing this opportunity. Even $5 can bring me closer. Please donate or reblog if you can. ❤️ Please help me finish this today.
$642 / $700!!! 😭❤️ I can't believe we're this close. ONLY $58 LEFT. After everything it took to get here, we're now just $58 away from completing this goal. If you can give even $5, please help me cross the finish line. $58. One final push. Let's finish this together. ❤️
33$ Left !

if this isn't a great example I don't know what is
You can support Hamed Ashour by donating to his gofundme here, which is currently critically low on funds. You can also follow his story via Instagram.

screenshot of an instagram post by @/rajaeen1 that reads "In the Genocide I lived in a tent unfit even for a dog so, the world rushed to rescue the dog, not me!
I shared my story a year ago with this very loyal dog friend.
Oh, how lucky this dog is. The story went viral in Arabic and international magazines, and was read by more than 5 million people around the world. The story was translated into seven different languages.
At the time, an organization working in the field of animal rights from the Ireland capital, Dublin, contacted me. They wanted to ensure the dog's health and living conditions in the tent we were living in together. I sent the photos, and afterward, I received a great amount of sympathy and a huge emotional response. They seriously began exploring options to evacuate the dog from the Gaza Strip through licensed institutions.
They wanted a better life, a cleaner place, and a wider sky for the dog
Oh my God! no one even pointed out to me!
I was the one living in a tent unfit for even a dog to live in.
screenshot that reads, "I'm Hamed Ashour - a poet and creative writing trainer from Gaza. Your support will help me survive (food, water, medicine, safe shelter, power, internet) and continue my work: writing, documenting daily life under war, and producing a book of war diaries to be translated so our story cannot be silenced." The situation in Gaza is extremely tragic; don’t forget Gaza.
Unfortunately, my family was torn apart after my father died, my mother fell into a coma, and now my little siblings are on the streets.
My dream is to receive treatment and evacuate them to a safe place. Please donate, even a small amount, and share. Don’t let us down.
