i had a liberty brief today and before the brief i had a “liberty is a mission” brief with 9 other people about how people should watch what or how much they drink blah blah blah.

so im at the brief and the commanding officer starts by asking us “so how do you all like that little ‘liberty is a mission’ brief?’“

i was thinking about the NEATure walks guy so in the best impersonation of that guy i said “it was pretty neat” and the CO heard it and looked at me and said “did you think it was neat? and did you actually enjoy it?“

so here i am trying to keep my self from laughing at the fact he heard me say it and my friends behind me trying not to laugh also as i just say “it was educational sir”

as soon as his head turns i just start laughing and apparently the Command master chief was standing behind me loosing his shit too.

two minutes later the CMC comes back and sets a coin in front of me and says “for making me laugh and doing the voice”

so long story short i got a challenge coin that some people go their entire contract not getting by just making him laugh so much so he had to excuse himself.
