Hello, my name is Charlie, i’m a young non-binary trans boy who lives in , France, but i need to leave the country as soon as possible. My parents are physically and emotionally abusive, even more towards me since i came out in december. It is starting to be truly dangerous for me to stay here. First, my house is broken due to a flood and it can fall at any time on us.

But most importantly, i have been trying to kill myself 3 times in the past 3 months. I have depression and anxiety because of my abusive parents and they don’t want to let me take the right medication, they even made me see a therapist that was supposed to “help me with my transgender problem”.

Everything is planned, even a date. My girlfriend’s parents are ready to offer me a home but they live in Norway. The plane ticket is the only thing that i can’t get right now, but it’s urgent. Today it costs around 72€, but the prices get higher everyday so i have to buy it quickly.

Please donate if you can. I really need this money and i can’t get it in another way. You can check my commissions if you would like to get an artwork, but i will give a small doodle or artwork to anyone who donates more than 3€. You will be able to choose of course, and the difficulty of the drawing will increase depending of the amount of money,^^

Figment, the recently closed writing website, has just launched (after a long delay) their long-awaited successor to figment known as Underlined, where users can post their work and receive feedback, supposedly.

DO NOT USE UNDERLINED. DO NOT POST YOUR WORK ON UNDERLINED.

Underlined’s terms and conditions contains a clause stating that the rights to all your work that you post on their website belongs to them!!!!

I went to confirm @greater-than-the-sword‘s post, because seriously publishers are still pulling this garbage?  And yes, they are.  If you want to check out the full terms and conditions, have at it.  They are full of writers’ nightmares, a few of which I’ll highlight under the cut.
