saying this as I'm dealing with repeat heat exhaustion and 90-110degree (freedom units) weather in my us cactus state and it's JUST almost the end of my birthmonth, it's not even SUMMER summer yet(luckily barely to no humidity for the most part!!)

So, Ettas book is basically a parody name of ‘a court of thorns and roses’ by Sarah j mass or wtv her name is, it’s called ‘a court of thistles and rosebuds’. I thought I was being clever and funny at the time I came up with it 💔
The name Snowbleed itself comes from a song title from a band called Alisons Halo. I thought it was a pretty song and fit well with the fic, I vill add the link here:

I'm lowkey curious, but what happened to the actual Beaudet when we took over her body? Is she in ours?
I pondered this myself when I was writing it because we do wake up with the engagement ring and Beaudet’s clothes on our body, and if we’d somehow swapped we would probably be wearing different clothes. Also the canon plot conspires against us to force us to follow one path
So far I’m going with like this consciousness multiverse theory where which is kinda 2020 shifttok coded. But whatever you feel is the best idea would be cool

1st image: How can you tell them from other shapeshifters? (pointing at dream) this is a parasitic shapeshifter race known as "blanks" across all languages and species, though sizes, horns, and eyes might be slightly different, the entire race of blanks tend to sport the same white with greenish eyes "demon" resting/default form, this makes them among the most homogenous of shapeshifter species, let alone non-shifters!
1st image: (pointing at technoblade) this is a military made race of shapeshifters, this is a personal choice of a default form for this fellow! the only thing to note across race IF there was any others is the solid coloring and eye color! as assumingly like Techno they wont be able to fully change it at all (another arrow pointing at him) pink skin/keratin + red eyes
