AAAAAAAAA okay I've pondered this more than is acceptable probably and I 100% agree bc Ominously Standing In The Corner + Big Doll Eyes + lack of actual identity

I've thought about the rest of the team less, naturally, but I think (bar any relationships from the musical, only considering characters & their personalities)

Ocean - John (bad person who thinks they're better than everyone here but gets better and, in the end, realizes that their friends are actually pretty damn cool & great)

Constance - Yelena (brightens every room they enter, despite dark/sad points in their life, they are generally the ray of sunshine in an otherwise very dysfunctional group, whether they like it or not)

Noel - Bob (depressed and wishing for a different, better life from the one they have)

Mischa - Bucky (Off Pining for someone who's not part of the main group, at least for a good while)

Ricky - Ava (Very little autonomy & voice for themself for a long time, like for most of their life, has finally gotten it)(this absolutely works for Toni as well btw)

Bonus, I think Val would be Karnak because she orchestrated everything, y'know? And I really couldn't find a spot for Alexei at all I'm sorry 😔😔😔😔 Father Marcus, maybe??
