The blade made it's way,

And to my heart it stayed,

But it is here no more,

I am never again sore.

Many roses have grown,

And I am no longer alone,

There the light has risen

and to my heart, I start to listen

So an achiever I became,

And the world calls my name

For I became a flame,

That will burn till endgame.

Every hardship I pass through,

I never withdrew

Cause the rose that brewed,

Has made me anew.

His touch is like a feather

His eyes are like no other

And he smiles as bright as summer

Oh why must I fall in love, with someone who has another?

She smells like roses,

And her dress rises

As her eyes encloses

My smile forces

Do these feelings of mine really matter?

He looks at her in a manner

Oh, she looks so glamour

Don't get me wrong! Parents are amazing!

They raised and cared for me,

And just wants the best for me

They are the source of my happiness

And yet also the source of my sadness

They tend to go too far sometimes,

Always mutter how I'm wrong,

And always think they're right.

Though when I try to speak up,

The gag in my mouth,

The pierced blade in my heart,

Keeps me from letting these thoughts of mine out ..

There are many things that i can't tell,

And many secrets that i mustn't say,

Yet i still don't get privacy,

and always feel the need to decay.

Every day and every minute and every second,

I worry about messing up,

Scared, for the blade might pierce me again.

Scared, for I might disappoint them again.

Oh why can't I just live life my way?

Without having to worry about the hurtful words they say?

I betrayed and I'm sorry, but don't you think this is too much for me to weigh?

I know they love me and I love them too,

But they can sometimes, truly be hurtful.
