Our first date and I spend it staring at my red nail polish. Red nail polish. Red nail polish. And you act like you donât notice me picking 2 strands of hair out of my scalp when a loose one falls onto my lap. And you ignore the way my words fumble in threes. You ignore the way I tap my thumb three times. Tap my thumb three times. Tap my thumb three times. And you watch intently as I slice tomatoes because my mother always warned,âOne cut turns into 3, or more.â And you watch as I lock the house door three times. Three times. Three times. And at 12:30 you beg for me to come to bed. But I donât reply because you missed my name somewhere in that sentence and I force you to recite it until the words flow better. And ironically my favorite number ruined me Because three months later you got tired of loving me.
Three times a charm, right? (via loviely)

You say âamateurâ as if it was a dirty word. âAmateurâ comes from the Latin word âamareâ, which means to love. To do things for the love of it.

A star falls from the sky and into your hands. Then it seeps through your veins and swims inside your blood and becomes every part of you. And then you have to put it back into the sky. And itâs the most painful thing youâll ever have to do and that youâve ever done. But whatâs yours is yours. Whether itâs up in the sky or here in your hands. And one day, itâll fall from the sky and hit you in the head real hard and that time, you wonât have to put it back in the sky again.

Hey! Can you do a few prompts about a hero falling in love with a villain, but they need to imprison or even kill the villain to make sure the people are safe ??
1) âYou think youâre doing this for them?â The villain laughed and tugged at their restraints. âPlease.â Their teeth bared, more a snarl than a smile, voice dripping saccharine venom. âWe both know you just wanted me all to yourself. You think I havenât seen the way you look at me? I bet you just love this, seeing me like this.â âYouâd prefer I kill you?â The hero struggled to keep their voice even in turn.. Their chest ached.âIâd prefer you stop pretending this anything other than your own selfishness.â
2) âYou donât need to do this.â Finally, the self assured expression had vanished from the villainâs face at the weapon at their throat. It gave the hero no satisfaction. âI love you.âIt was a lie, the hero knew it was a lie. A fun house mirror twisting up their own desires and giving them back as shiny as the executionerâs axe - but god, it sounded so real. Genuine. A flawless act that didnât remotely change what they had to do. The heroâs hand trembled. âStop talking.â They pressed the weapon in a little harder. The villain flinched and it broke their heart just a little bit more.Â
3) âI care for you more than they ever did.ââYes.â The hero didnât deny it. What was the point of pretending, now, at the end of the things? So much had been wasted on bravado already. God, the time theyâd wasted, foolishlyâŚthe heroâs eyes prickled with the urge to cry âBut the things you doâŚââI can be better.ââYouâve said that before.ââDonât kill me,â the villain said. âIt will shatter you.ââThen surrender.â That was the one thing that, in everything, the villain had never been prepared to do. The villain froze.Â
Love Potions
Anonymous said:Any love potion (that is actually not potion) prompts???
Anonymous said:im literally in love with your writing! youâre so amazing. could i have some prompts for a villain whose been love-potioned into being in love with the hero? thanks!!! //Â Anonymous said:Love the prompts :) can I get one about villains x heroines/heroes and love potions/spells?
1) âYou love me,â they realised, with a small smile. âNot right now I donât,â the protagonist spat, in utter disgust. âA love potion, seriously?â âI didnât actually give you one. And I knew youâd never admit it if-â â-And what you wanted to know was so much more important than me being ready to tell it, right? Bloody typical for someone who keeps love potions!â The whole thing was creepy and non consensual and somewhere along the line it had become something romantic. âGreat job, really clever. You must be so proud at tricking someone you claim to care about.â âHang on - it wasnât like that!â
2) Was it really wrong if it made them happy? If it gave the villain a purpose, outside of pain and destruction? They were so much happier now. A sweet kiss, a kind smile, cuddling in the evenings. So long as they took the villain took their âmedicineâ everything was perfect and no one got hurt. No. There was nothing wrong with that. It was love - the least wrong thing in the world! âNo, donât go,â the once-villain begged. âPlease, donât leave me on my own. Let me come with you.â âIâll be back in the evening, love. Itâs alright. Hey now, itâs alright, yeah?â It was love, the least wrong thing in the world - up until the symptoms began to warp. Up until the villainâs world stopped spinning and they were the only thing left. Then it started to feel a little cruel.
3) âHey - wait - you donât want to do this.â This wasnât supposed to happen. âNo, not really.â The villainâs fingers clawed into their shirt. âDo you think I donât know what you did? You made me this. My heart pounding - unable to think - to - to-â The villain drew a breath, released. Closed their eyes. When they opened again, they shone still with their mania. Intent and devoted. âYou made me this,â the villain said softer. âYou made me love you. So now watch me love you like a monster does.âÂ
4) âWeâd like to buy a love potion.â The couple stood together in the shop, awkward but trying. âWhat kind of love? We offer a selection - sweet, passionate, steady-â âTrue.â True was the most expensive, especially on prescription, butâŚwell, they were going to be together. They may as well a be in true love for as long as they could.
5) âYou said it would make them love me!â They shoved the empty bottle in the witchâs chest, eyes ablaze. âYou promised.â âThey do love you,â replied the witch. âTheyâve always loved you. If you canât see that then itâs not a love potion you need. Or is it that their love isnât worth anything to you if they donât want to fuck you too?â Colour flushed embarrassed and furious to the customerâs cheeks. âI want my money back.â
