The characters from these games: Bound High, (an unreleased Virtual Boy game) Chalvo 55, Chameleon Twist and Chameleon Twist 2 by Japan System Supply, who also developed LifeStorm and StoneAge MMO JRPG games, filed for bankruptcy and went defunct in 2000, later sold to Nippon Ichi Software in 2009 and merged with Toei Animation in 2015.
