Kuja Pirate Kuina.

I think she deserves to run away from her village and join a tribe of people who would validate her choices.

But that makes me think: do you think she should befriend Luffy and join the strawhats post timeskip?

Ohhhh I like that. She and Cosette should go to Amazon Lily Tbh (Kuina joins the Kuja but Cosette doesn't, I don't think she's made for the pirate/warrior life, let her be a cook in peace).

I do think she's befriend Luffy (because ofc she would, it's Luffy) but she's not joining the Strawhats.

Generally speaking, I'm very "against" (which is quoted cuz it just means that I don't do anything like that and generally avoid fanworks with those tropes, same with changing who the Strawhats are) other characters joining the Strawhats permanently, unless it's Vivi coming back. Travelling together for a short period? That's fun, we need more of that. But a permanent fixture? No, that feels like throwing off the whole ecosystem

Plus, in this case, she has longer and stronger bonds with the Kuja and Amazon Lily, Luffy wasn't that long on Amazon Lily to have such a bond with Kuina and I seriously doubt he'd invite her to join the crew (plus, characters like Kuina, Nojiko and the Vinsibs have that extra con that they're siblings - a cousin in Kuina's case - of the Strawhats and, as an older sibling and a ASL + Vinsibs fan, the Strawhats' siblings especially should not be getting involved - permanently - in the SH's adventures, it's one of those things that you should let your sibling have on their own and for their own).
