📱: “Depends on what he’s sending. Is it threatening you, or putting you in a compromising position in anyways?”

📞: “Kia, the man hit me with a 2 x 4 before. Does that count?”

📱: "I-..." The female paused for a second, under the right terms this was cause for a form of restraining order, but with no recent digressions it wouldn't last long. "There is something temporary you can do, but depending on how your father acts will only make the whole case viable or strong enough to uphold. Meet me at my office Monday morning and I'll get you set up with my boss if you'd like."

“Hello?”

📞: “Hey Kia, it’s Jay. I know it’s an awkward time to call, but I need legal advice. It’s a kinda long conversation, mind helping a friend out?”

📱: "Yeah, I got the time..." Kia sat up, wiping her eyes before grabbing the drink by her bed and taking a sip. "What's going on, are you okay?"

"Hello?"

"I can swing that, if you trying to hit up a cheap menu with me because listen.." Kia, followed Tristan toward the auditorium exit. "But nah, let's do something where I can eat a lot, I'm starving on the highest of keys right now."

“I been working nonstop at the office, my signal don’t reach past four feet, it was there, you just couldn’t see it.” Kia laughed, squeezing into the seat next to Tristan. “Do a good deed and feed the hungry.”

“Yeah, yeah. Whatever.” Hands Kia over a handful of chips. “I’m bout to bounce. They got a sign in sheet?” 

"I don't think so," Kia shrugged eating a few of the chips. "But since we get to leave, I guess it don't matter. Let's go get more food."

Kadeem arrives late, noticing that the meeting is over and he shrugs as he licks barbeque sauce off his fingers from the ribs that were on his plate, then eating some rice before nodding at everyone, turning out to leave again.

"Whoa, whoa.. Security told me to check everything leaving so I gotta test the plate. Pass a rib."

Making it back to the campus in time, Kia got out of her car rushing toward the main building for the meeting. Slipping inside just a few minutes late, she spotted someone she knew, sliding in next to them as she waited to hear what was going on.

Turning to see Kia sitting beside him, he smiled. “Hey there, long time no see? I thought you transferred…”

"Transferred? No, being worked like a slave? Hell yeah." She let a laugh fall from her lips before shrugging her shoulders. "How you been, love?"
