* UNKNOWN HORRORS!

" alastor , " the familiar name slides off his tongue without the usual fear one would associate with the moniker. in fact it sounds more like a pleased hum , ethereal as always in quality but almost warm. four neon eyes peer at @alteregozowie , zestial's currently knelt amongst various poisonous & even a few carnivorous plants. it puts them at eye level , a rarity without the elder craning & twisting his body. a gardening apron of sorts is tied securely around zestial as if the dirt would detract any from his ghostly attire.

he finishes clipping off a new shoot from a particularly nippy sinnertrap & handing it off to a skittering member of his staff that's quick to attend to the offering. zestial's head cants to the side , " i daresay thou art not here to aid me in tending the garden , art thou , dear friend ? "

zestial's standing in his specifically-made-to-accommodate-his-height-kitchen next to his companion for the evening. a long green apron's secured round his neck & various shadowy creatures skitter about to clean the bowls they've already dirtied. soft music plays from seemingly no discernible source as he all but floats through the familiar room to gather a small vial. the overlord hovers over @gamblins shoulder to pour some of the contents into the bowl he's mixing , there's a puff of smoke & the soft echo of screams as it dissolves into the mixture. " the secret ingredient , thou seest , is a dash of mortal screams — it doth bring forth the flavor most ... exquisitely. "

zestial's made it a point to know just who is staying at the hazbin hotel out of his own festering curiosity ( the morningstar girl's latest flight of fancy & an old friend's reappearance --- it's all too much a coincidence to pass up , really. ) always a seeker of the whispers none else are to hear / there's power to be hand in knowing & playing with the edges of the unknown in turn.

he tracks the arachnid with his eyes before approaching , a slither of shadows along the streets of pride. silence is broken by the screams of passerby that catch sight of him & wish they hadn't. it's almost comical , how potent their fear is ( & all he has in hand is a bag of pastries he'd picked up to enjoy with his tea. )

zestial falls in line with @viceweb's step , head tilting to accommodate the difference in height. " thou art one of the denizens of the hazbin hotel , art thou not ? pray , allow me the honor of escorting thee back to thine lodgings. " he straightens , a polite distance kept between them & a fang filled smile offered. " i am most curious to behold what hath become of it. "
