Have you ever gone lipstick/gloss shopping and been sucked in by those “long lasting wear” catch phrases that pull you into that purchase? I have. Plenty of times. Time and time again I would find myself indulging in what  is advertised as the best lip wear out there and time and time again, I would find myself let down with a dry and cracking pigment upon my lips.

I feel it is now safe to say that for me; those days are over, thank you to NYX cosmetics! When I was growing up my older sisters would buy NYX makeup because it was all the rage however with all the new products that emerged, the brand really got lost throughout the years. So when I was target a few months ago I was more than happy to stumble across the trusted brand.

Their range of cosmetics is vast and they accommodate all those creative needs with a wide range of products and colour palette. My obvious fav is that of lipstick and lip colours. As mentioned earlier, I struggle to find those long lasting lip colours, especially ones that can be easily applied whilst still ensuring great coverage. NYX have a great range of lip wear however it is their range of lip butters that really has me excited! My personal favourite of the range is that of “Cherry Cheese Cake” (pictured first and second) as it a great pop of peach that really adds a warm feature to any outfit. Its easy application makes it perfect for on the go whilst the great thick gloss allows it to remain a long lasting lip colour. I must assure you, the pigment isn’t solid however it is quite strong and is ideal if you’re after a hint of colour. What’s even more great?
