Amazon & Shipping Packaging
Hey earth lovers!
Do you ever feel guilty about buying things on Amazon? Well, don’t fret! It’s not as wasteful as you would think, but you will need to put in a small bit of effort to create the near-zero waste shipping!
First, Amazon ships with cardboard with paper tape, therefor 100% recyclable! The cardboard is biodegradable, compostable, and recyclable, so do with this information as you please!
Second, Amazon has a 100% recyclable method of shipping called Frustration-Free Packaging. This means Amazon teams up with companies to create better packaging than that in the store. To find out more information, click here!
Third, Amazon allows you to have everything shipped in one box! So instead of having 10 boxes, all with different items in each, Amazon will hold all your items until they all come to their warehouse, put them in one box, and then ship it to you. You have to have all the items in one order, and there is a box that you tick that tells them that you would rather have all your items shipped in one box.
Fourth & Finally, You can email customer service and tell them to make a note in your account to avoid using plastic packaging/unnecessary packaging! (Email is [email protected])
I found out this information through Shelbizlee on YouTube!
