I’ve learned the hard way that you NEED to radically accept that people whom you may even find you cool won’t find you cool in return. Like I’m a very specific kind of person, and as I get older I understand more and more why I’m not everyone’s cup of tea. Also be more selective about who you let into your life in turn. Your circle doesn’t need to be an echo chamber, but there is such a thing as trying to form ties with people who’re simply too far away from who you are to make that connection.

These cups are part of an exhibit called “where have you been”. There are more than 8,000 cups placed out to memorialize the genocide that occurred in Srebrenica. This is to symbolize the loved ones who they are still pouring their cup of coffee for today. Coffee is so important in our culture, you will go to family’s house and have coffee no matter the time, no matter how many cups you’ve already had. One would give anything to have one more coffee with someone they love.
