Hello, i am zekromchara, you can call me chara if you wish, welcome to my UT/DR centered blog.

any pronouns are fine, and i am an adult.

I originate form Asia so forgive me if my english can be messy sometimes ;;

I have been invested in Undertale and fanworks such as AUs for over a decade, as well as Deltarune since their release and popularity, it's had a very special place in my heart! So i wanted to dedicate an entire blog to a lifelong interest of mine.

I like to make my things organized into tags for easy searching, so here is some you can look through!

#chara inks <- this is for looking through drawings i do! I love to draw my favourite characters from UT/DR as well as especially undertale AUs!

#chara narrates <- this is for text-posts i will also specifically tag with #undertale talk or #deltarune talk if im discussing about a topic or speculation i have about these games, i won't have a specific tag for AUs.. sorry ;;

so i want to remake my version of chara, one thing i definetly want to do is actually draw my version of chara with hair over the eyes, since i actually never saw people do this with chara despite the flashback CGs I just think it would also add to the fact Chara was a complicated and unreadable person.. but maybe Asriel knew their faces under the shadowing of their hair

seeing people say how much alphys wouldve lost her mind at this chapter all while simutaneosuly ignoring UNDYNE IS ACTUALLY THE BIGGER WEEB THEN ALPHYS!!

Alphys is not even a mega fan of mew mew kissy cutie , she was very selective about her taste for it, meanwhile Undyne had it completely crossed on her heart with the entire underground's souls combined about anime being real, if anyone would lost her mind its UNDYNE!!

I can have poorer english in longer texts i make, please be patient with it.. (please read the tags at the end once finished)

I do not have any issues with other people's interpretations of these two and respect them, this is just mine and you are okay to disagree ;;

i never really saw chara and asriel as siblings, or as family, but as best friends. and nothing more or less then that.

for me personally, knowing chara was mistreated on the surface, I think for them it would be difficult to want to be close to someone in the sense of a 'family', speaking from experience sometimes not everything is a "fix-it" and not every good environment means a "new found family" (a somewhat reason why i dislike many found family headcanons) as it could cause to thinking things about it and just not feeling right at all.. sometimes the perception of that can never be fixxed or just be seen as the good being 'wrong'. And that it feels undeserving to really put yourself in a label such as that, even if that label could be accepting you with open arms..

I think what they present themself as simply; best friends. it's what i've always seen them as, it's something that's new, something that Chara also didn't have. A friend, but it's not something that's been tainted, ruined- it's something completely new and foreign to them. Something that can be warm and loving, something to accept.

It's something you don't have a clue of as you're strung along, but you don't want to let go of the hand leading you, it's something that you make markings for and keep memories of, like a friendship locket or a camera to take pictures with.

it's a relationship that's not forcibly bounded onto you because of the blood shared, something that you aren't threatened to stay quiet to and obey because it is a societal belief that the one raising you must always be right. It's a relationship of trust, built trust, company and safety in another person where you're not afraid to tell them how you feel.

how important it is to have someone, a friend. nothing more and nothing less. someone who could know you on levels that someone not as a family or not someone like a partner could, just a friend you lean on and feel secure with.

sometimes there is things you really can't tell anyone else, sometimes the idea of letting a guardian or a sibling know a secret is terrifying or that it could get you in trouble; they have an expectation of you, they have a view of you that puts fear into doing any wrong to disobey that image.

but with a friend you don't have that fear. with a friend you could ask them to keep a secret, a friend could be your ride-or-die even if you end up doing something crazy..

a friendship is very precious, it protects you with walls that is not found elsewhere, it holds you reassuringly, it clings to the fabric of your clothes and doesn't let go. as if you'll suddenly dissapear if it did. it wasn't perfect, their relationship wasn't perfect.

the plan was a culmination of guilt, hatred and pain, wishing to be obsolved of those sins humans told you that you were, a demon. the only way you could cleanse it was to sacrifice yourself to pay for your sins, to give yourself up for the greater good.

it was terrible. it would hurt anyone, even that person most precious to you.

to have a friend, is to hold them close and tell them you wish you could have done more.

there's a saying that bad friendships can be 'fixxed' with good ones, but what do you feel when you know it was not that black and white? what if you've seen all sides of that person; when they were happy, when they were sad, when they were angry. and even when all these negative things cloud them, in the end they still lean on you. and you know they loved you too, and they never would have caused this pain if they knew it went that far.

maybe they weren't the greatest person in the end, but that didn't mean you didn't care or love that person any less, they were still your best friend. and it was never wrong to wish you could go back and have told them that more often.

until i saw friisans's AU altertale (and the AU varients of it such as swap, fell & even reaper? i think?) and it was like the only instance where i became a very diehard shipper..

my weird scope of ships as a aro-spec person remains true where i dont actually ship very many things or popular ships unless it is something i can see myself and my fiance in and/or become attached to if i see a ship that showcases a very deep bond i find myself emotional about..

(with the case of popular/canon ships in specific being i end up gravitating towards them depending on a specific fan-work or take on them i really enjoy, hence my liking for friisans' soriel)

The second game even had a dedicated 'genocide route' where you literally pick up a knife that resembles the real-knife as well as the bullet hell segments of the games being you as a heart having to move around.. some people said that the antagonist of the first game was inspired by asriel especially in it's facial expressions..

There was also this one-off danganronpa inspired game if anyone also remembers that though it's not relevant to this account haha..
