heâd just gotten off his shift at corner cafe, walking out and running a hand through his hair as he went to unhook his bike that he was still waiting to get stolen. it was a relatively normal day. not too busy and no one was rude, so he considered that a success. just as he reached for the lock, his eyes caught someone a few yards away discard their trash on the ground carelessly, and his reaction was instantaneous. he usually didnât put himself in any situation to start a fight, but he really couldnât stand that type of thing. normally, heâd pick it up himself, but to see them do it without thought especially got on his nerves. âthe worldâs not your fucking trash can, pick it up.âÂ
âPick it up!â Zeke shouted out from behind as he came up from behind Emery. âAnd remember to always reduce, reuse and recycle.â His tone was practically dripping with sarcasm and so was his smile as he watched the other person give the two of them an odd look only to end up picking it up and throwing it into the bin. Instantly Zeke began clapping for the other, hearing the person say something but not nearly loud enough to make out what it was which only caused him to stop the clapping and flip them off. Afterwards he turned over to look at Emery. âYou good? Swear I thought you were about to break out like that 21 jump street guy talking about not caring for the environment.â He laughed.
