Santiago was looking at his computer, he had been for far too long but he was working on another report on Biology. It wasn’t super important to anything, or anyone other than him. But he was also waiting for someone to give him his next drop off list for the Wolves. When he heard someone else come up next to him he shook his head before looking up, “I’m sure I don’t want a dance. Sorry.” When the person didn’t answer he looked up at Genesis and closed his laptop, “Oh shit I didn’t know it was you.” @genesisporter​

BIO
Santiago was born in Charming to a poor family. They lived on the outskirts of Charming and did what they could to get by. He’s the youngest of 4 children. From a young age his parents started to put their hopes on their youngest son as he showed himself to be extremely intelligent.Â
Santiago was able to skip both head start and kindergarten and go directly to his first year of study. At age 10 he was taking classes from the High School. His parents were dead set on him doing nothing but learning. In their eyes his brilliance would be what made them money so everything he did had to be related to academics.Â
When he was 15 he was graduating high school and accepted into a university, his parents were proud but he wanted to be normal for once. The summer he followed his oldest brother around and learned more about the drug scene than he should have at 15. But he was good at counting, he could make sure everything was the right weight and in his brothers eyes proved to be an asset to him. That was the first time Santiago felt freedom and he loved it. (this connection would be plotted out more because his siblings are all WC’s)
He left for Stanford at age 16 where he was in special programs. He got his bachelors in mathematics and chemistry at 17. At the moment he has masters degrees in both and wants to go back to school and stay away from home but with his mothers declining health he’s back in charming.Â
Instead of going back to his parents house like they wanted he’s living with roommates and just giving his parents money.
Santiago doesn’t really mind being a part of the wolves, it gives him a control he’s never had over things. He’s never been free, his life has been him stuck inside and doing what everyone else wanted from him. As much as he loves learning he wants to do it because he wants to and he’s never had that.
This is his chance at freedom, he’s doing things he knows he shouldn’t because it’s where he gets to see the freedom he’s never had before.Â

Lu wanted nothing more after a tiring day at work than to relax in her own bed with some ice cream while catching up on her Netflix shows but she got bored pretty quickly once she remembered the different cases she was working on. Knowing she’d be pretty reckless if she didn’t start moving around, she decided to go check up on her best friend, knocking on his door quietly before taking a peek in. “Everybody decent?” She jokingly called out, unable to help the way her heart skipped a beat once her eyes rested on him. No matter how hard Lu tried, this stupid little crush on her best friend just would not go away and she definitely tried. Clearing her throat, Lu made her way to his bed and offered him the ice cream. “Want some?”
All Santiago had wanted to do was crawl in bed and sleep but his mind was still running a mile a minute. He’d been out all last night with the Wolves and doing probably more than most would at his level. But that was the curse of a photographic memory and a genius IQ. His parents drilled it into his mind that he had to be doing something or he was useless. Even if it was something like sleeping. Sitting up at the knock on the door his annoyance shifted to a more relaxed state, “Lu.” He figured she’d have curled up somewhere and watched that show on Netflix she was trying to make everyone watch but instead she was here. “Ice Cream? What flavor?” Santi grinned as he moved over in his bed, actually properly sitting up as she sat next to him.Â
