Then he started asking if I had any guy friends, that he’s a jealous type. Usually it’s a red flag for me but when I asked him back he answered that he would not mind, telling me to do whatever it is that would make me happy. Good answer, right?

Anyways, after only a week of talking every day, this guy proposed for me to be his gf. At this point, we have not been talking on the phone or a video call. It was weird to me, so I said no. Then for a couple of days, he started giving me one worded reply, which was fine. Then he started dropping the “my love and ect” term of endearment in his messages. Btw, he’s from another country.

This guy then proceeded to tell me about his family misfortune, losing his father due to accident at work. He said he’s coming to my country for the court case. Nothing unusual at this point as he did not say anything much. It was worth noting that he did not spring out this topic, we were getting to know each other.

Then about 2 weeks, he told me that he had to come to my country for the court proceeding. He talked about his stay, his plan to meet. A couple of days later, he told me about wanting to get married. At this point, I was starting to get really uncomfortable as it seemed like he was rushing. I felt something was wrong but didn’t know what.

Then I received this message.

BRUHHHHH This guy legit spent more than 2 weeks trying to scam me. I’ve had bad Tinder dates but this is just *chef’s kiss* Anyways, I went to his Tinder profile and saw that his location was still the same. I told him I would only share banking info via Tinder, but he quickly unmatched me there.

He was getting nervous, he tried to pretend that I offended him by being a “detective”. I told him that I would give him the money face to face, asked him for his location. He gave me a hotel name, but I insisted for his live location which he refused to give while trying to convince me to come to the hotel. I told him about his location on Tinder. He stopped replying.
