That's why I say, whatever that time totals from 1619 to 1954 (real talk 1965) is the timeframe that must pass (beginning 1954 or 1965) when people can say to Black people "Slavery is so long ago." I think any 100% real racial utopia can truly exist beginning then. Until, we must continue to work and educate others because the horrid past is too nearby to be claimed as so long ago.
