Here’s the process on the Cap’n. This was the first of a few designs so the qualities that tie them all together were first getting sorted out here. There are some 90s cartoon aspects, but I go harder on them with the subsequent characters.

I gotta get back to these characters.

This started as a prompt challenge drawing with my family one night. Then, I decided to take it the rest of the way. I platinum’d this game a few weeks ago and if I didn’t have so much else to play I’d probably do it again! Hope you dig the process. Created in @procreateapp

Playing through Crisis Core Reunion made me revisit this older FFVII piece. Made some tweaks. A remake of my own, haha.
