“What is it with children and fairgrounds?” Jimmy asks to the person standing next to him as he looked at the queue to Kind Arthur’s merry-go-round. In front of them were a bunch of kids together, they couldn’t be more than 13 or 14. “Where are the parents? Where’s the supervision?” 

Usually Jimmy wouldn’t comment, but they were causing chaos, being loud and pushing each other whilst laughing, and that meant they were falling into other people in the queue.

     “Honestly,” Zara agreed, her lips pursed, the blonde’s arms crossed tight at her chest in distaste. “They look 12 or 13 at the most though. That’s an L.A. 16, Jimmy. They go out drinking in bars with fake ID’s.” Maybe she was projecting a little from her own memories of being that age. 

“That was me before mom and pop shipped me off to that school, too.” The most expensive one money could have bought, in Switzerland. 

“They run around and act like they own the world, when they really have no clue.” One of the kids was filming the other with her smart phone, an instagram or tiktok or something dumb like that.

Shiloh had a long day at work, but nothing like a few shots of tequila to take the edge off. Looking around the bar she noticed a very drunk girl stumbling around in the corner, louder than anyone else there. “I’m having whatever she’s having!” she said to the bartender over the loud music. Looking over at the person next to her, “And get them one too” she said pointing to her neighbor.

     Zara was living it up at the bachelorette party, and even though she was loud, wild, and as drunk as the bride herself, there was a girl even drunker than both of them. It was a bit gauche, she was into that territory where she was now making a fool of herself, and of course, Zara would not hesitate to make fun of that. “That’s Annie,” she explained to Shiloh. “I don’t know if you did the right thing sending her another drink, but hopefully she won’t have an accident like the bachelorette in Cabo.”  

Nathan: I'm so bored.

Nathan: What's up? Tell me /anything/ interesting. I'm sitting here at the bank in the longest line I've ever seen trying to deposit a check.

Zara: Ew. Why don't you have someone to do that for you? I hate waiting.

Zara: Well, I'm trying on shoes at Gucci and I'm having a shoe crisis.

The term ‘permanently exhausted pigeon’, although funny, was a reality for Era. Fresh off a three-week honeymoon, the young blonde had a half-peeling sunburn and dark circles under her eyes, jet lag practically kicking her in the butt despite having to get up for work every day. Her exhaustion was made evident by the way she zoned out when looking at things, a mental note popping up every few minutes reminding her to move so she didn’t look like a mannequin. But, as she stood in front of a particularly tall shelf in Trader Joe’s, she was contemplating whether she really needed the flour or not. Glancing around almost desperately, Ezra furrowed her thick brows before sighing, knowing that she would need to ask for help but dreading it. Taking a tentative step forward, the blonde approached the first person she saw, stopping just a few inches away from them. “Excuse me,” she almost whispered, her cheeks burning bright pink. “Do you think I could get some help grabbing something from the top shelf? Normally I wouldn’t ask, but last time I scaled one of them, an employee yelled at me.”

     Even thought she was all of five foot five, constantly wearing strappy heels gave the blonde extra height when she was out and about. “Oh, sure,” she said, and walking up to the pointed at item she leaned forward and grabbed it. “I don’t even know why they have those up there. Like, I can barely reach those.”  She offered it up to the smaller girl.
