Jamie fundamentally understands that he will always share Claire with Frank and he has respect for the other man because he knows Claire is loved and that's all he can ask for, and Frank REFUSES to accept that he will always share Claire with Jamie and treats him like a competitor and resents that he loved Claire and THAT'S why Jamie is the better choice!!!!!

GOD and the fact that he willingly offers her the chance to go back to Frank upon learning she traveled through the stones because he wants her to be HAPPY and he goes back to camp and we can see him crying when she shows back up because she chose him!!! We can see the absolute adoration in his eyes!!! And Frank makes her cut off and hide that part of her life and literally has to DIE in order for Claire to find her way back to Jamie because he wouldn't allow it even if it meant her happiness!!!!! I mean!!!!

The way that punisher s2e1 could have been the start of a romantic stoic-gunslinger-comes-to-town-finds-love-at-the-local-watering-hole-saves-the-small-town-from-threat-and-the-townspeople-accept-him-despite-his-past but instead they just put my man in scenarios
