This was the animation test that got me my job as Lead Character Designer on the Steven Universe Movie and Steven Universe Future. My favorite part is the first one, where I got to design my own gem fusion. I also had to do a turn of Snowflake Obsidian and a Pose/Expression sheet of Opal, and Garnet in a wedding dress based on a board. Working on the movie and show was such a dream, I miss it <3

She’s one of the many gems I’ve drawn before, and one of my personal favorites. (She’s obviously highly based off the one from the show lol). After Adobe Draw died I’ve gone back to trying Procreate, and did her as a little test.

Feedback is highly appreciated, since the change from adobe to procreate was very abrupt and I’m still learning how to use it :)
