I feel like I need to say this, because part of the reason why being on here has been draining on my mental health rather than offer a place of respite, is the incredibly isolating experience of writing a female oc, and one who is fandomless at that. I have been writing female muses since I begun doing so on tumblr nearly ten years ago, and I think most people who have can attest that it is difficult at times to maintain excitement when it feels like shouting into a void. some of that I do think it's the rpc at large; it has inevitably changed over the years, and maybe it's the nostalgia and the fact that it's 5 in the morning, but I miss the way people would just... interact in the past. I love deep, character defining dynamics, because I think they are the most fun to play out. there is no point to this post other than venting frustrations lmao but writing mura has certainly been different from writing any of my other past muses.
