Give it some time (a lot of time, let's be real), and he's finally letting you into his home. You're amped, so ready to meet this dog that the Russian loves. He calls for Sputnik, you hear nails clicking on the floor, and are met with a very un-doglike sound. It's like cackling. The source trots right up to you, sniffing with its blunt nose at your legs while rounded ears wiggle on the top of it's vaguely canine head.

It's a hyena. A goddamn hyena. Sputnik is a hyena.
