Stop spreading old (and false) drama about Vivziepop (creator of Hazbin Hotel)
Here is where she apologizes for and explains the stuff she got hate for in the past, updated for 2019. And it’s basically drawing some stuff she regrets now and THAT’S IT. AND THE ART WASN’T ANYTHING ILLEGAL.
So, stop bringing up stuff from almost 8 years ago and making up rumors and lies because you hate her/her work. If you don’t like Hazbin Hotel, or anything Vivziepop creates, don’t watch it, don’t look it up. It’s that simple. Don’t spread hate and misinformation.
As a final PSA, don’t automatically believe a call-out post that doesn’t have any proof (i.e. screenshots of tweets, posts, art, videos, etc) attached to it. Nowadays it’s so easy to add sources to your claims so when there is none, it’s suspicious. And when there are no sources, do some research yourself. Google them, go on their social media, see if you can find anything to back up what you read about them. And then decide for yourself whether or not you want to support them and the work they do. And it’s fine if you have a 1 strike rule and because of what someone did years ago you can’t support them, even if they apologized and learned from their mistakes. Just don’t hate on others who do still support them and don’t bring up those old mistakes to prove a point. Recognize and respect that the person is different now, and wants to put their past behind them.Â
