So, I feel like I should really go in depth for a second, and explain as to why I made a tumblr account, even though it's not normally used for Let's Plays.
Even though I may post the occasional video link, I feel like I could use this as a means to follow interesting people, artwork, pages, and basically anything that I feel like. Tumblr is full of interesting people of all kinds, who are more open minded and accepting than other social medias. Tumblr reminds me a lot of Washington state.
I've been to over 35+ states within the United States, and even though some were amazing, they all had their drawbacks. For instance, Virginia had a WIDE range of ethnicities, but locals still had some kind of grudge. Virginia was populated by military, became successful because of military, and the ethnicity was changed so much because of the military, however the few locals that actually lived and grew up there hated the military. They hated the very thing that allowed them to thrive and survive.
Ohio was my home state, and probably one of the worst I've been to. Very conservative and closed minded, most people were either Baptist or Catholic. NOW, don't get me wrong. I don't mind what religion you follow, I don't mind who you are, as long as we get along you could worship a toilet and we'd be ok. HOWEVER, Ohio was very different. I wanted to grow my hair out? Blasphemy. I wanted to explore my grandfather's past, and delve into the Cherokee beliefs? I'm going to hell. I liked to smoke pot and play video games? I would never succeed in life, and disappointed God. I wanted to have premarital sex with the love of my life? Might as well sign my soul away to Satan. It didn't matter I studied hard in school, joined the Navy, fought for my country, and generally helped others in need without asking for payment. Because I wanted to be, think, speak and dress differently, I was a heathen.
Then, comes Washington. You are a dude who wears a dress and likes to play banjo? I know a guy who needs you in his band. You're a girl that writes fictional stories about your favorite characters? Let's swap stories, relax and drink while laughing at youtube videos. You like both men and women? So do I!!!
Tumblr is the social equivalent of WA, and thus I have come here. I've come here to post whatever the hell I want, that wouldn't fit elsewhere. Maybe I feel like reblogging LGBT; maybe I want to follow a Pagan friendly page; maybe I just want to relax and read my Fiancee's fanfiction. Whatever the hell I want to do, it's accepted here. And that's fucking epic.
So, let me finish with just a thank you, to luneykitty, for introducing me to this site. Without this, I wouldn't have an output for my brand of insanity. Let's just hope you don't catch it.
