I told you not to be on my blog because you're pro rape and then you stayed. I dont have to accommodate you in my personal space just so I'm not gonna be called abusive. YOURE A PEDOPHILE. I do not want you here. I dont have to give you any alternative to deal with your trauma and stop being a pedophile, that's not MY obligation as a single person. Its YOURS, and your THERAPIST, and the GOVERNMENT. I'm pro rehabilitation, I'm pro expansion of mental health resources, but I do not have to be in order to DESERVE personal space. AND YOU MADE YOUR CHOICE WHEN YOU TOLD ME THAT I JUST "DISAGREE WITH" PEDOPHILIA AND SAID I SHOULDNT "POLICE SURVIVORS THOUGHTS" BY TELLING THEM THAT THEIR ABUSERS ARE BAD. I have BEEN the kid believing I was in love and that I was safe. I have BEEN the CHILD who was told I was "mature for my age" that I "look like an adult" I've been taught to seek the attention and admiration of adults only for them to use that against me. And because of my involvement in youth activism, I was able to cling onto the idea that I dont need to distance myself from my age and gain the approval of adults in order to be the best version of myself, and I learned that if adults see my only potential benefit to them as sexual then they dont view me as an emotional equal capable of consenting.
And I've BEEN THE KID who KNOWS these things at heart even while being manipulated. And I KNOW that you question yourself when they talk about when they were your age. And I KNOW that sometimes you feel like you're constantly working for them to like you but they never put in the same effort. And I KNOW sometimes it feels like you like them, but sometimes it feels like you're TRYING to like them, sometimes it feels like you're convincing yourself that this is ok, sometimes they dont seem to think you can make your own decisions so why the hell would they believe you can consent to this relationship, sometimes it feels like they dont know a lot about you and just make assumptions based on your age, sometimes it feels like if you had any other personality they would still pick you, sometimes you think they saw you in a moment of isolation and saw that you act lonely and decided that was just an opportunity. And even if it hasn't happened now, eventually you'll feel a pit in your stomach about all the ways they got you to behave* for them. And I'm here to tell you that its NOT FUCKING OKAY FOR THEM TO TREAT YOU LIKE THAT.
