so liam is one of my oldest characters and the reason that meleesh came to be but that was a different time and a different liam ( sorta ) so let’s bounce to the present
liam was a theatre geek in high school and he was kind of a living legend in his small town
somehow managed to get a lead role in every production all four years of high school
played bobby strong in urinetown, prince dauntless in once upon a mattress, seymour in little shop of horrors, jack in into the woods, george gibbs in our town, romeo in romeo and juliet, john proctor in the crucible, and lysander in a midsummer night’s dream
( yes i did take time to decide the roles he played throughout his hs career )
did alright in school but he wasn’t like an honor student u know
when he started applying for college his older brother warned him that he’d be a small fish in a big pond and might not be as good as he thought he was ( jealousy ) but lmao the joke was on his brother bc liam was just a big fish in a bigger pond
liam attended nyu ( tisch ) for a year and participated in a bunch of student films and also was in the stage production of legally blonde: the musical ( he played emmett )
his sophomore year he joined the disney college program and because of his dashing good looks and talent he was cast as one of the face actors for prince charming and sleeping beauty’s prince ( also played prince hans in a few parades when the main guy was out )
he was scouted while there and after his semester was over, he was cast in a dcom musical ( basically.......high school musical lmao )
the movie was a hit so he did two consecutive sequels
by twenty-one he’d shed his disney image and started doing a bunch of big blockbuster action films
put on a bunch of muscle for them and shit and literally transformed into a ‘leading man’
kept turning down musical offers that came to him bc he didn’t wanna be typecast
turned into an adrenaline junkie and was always doing death defying stunts like bungee jumping and skydiving
started asking to do his own stunts and they let him as long as the stunt wasn’t too dangerous
he joined the cast of criminal minds: mind over matter during their second season as a recurring cast member, though he hoped someday jackson would get a lil more action bc sitting behind a desk was boring ( tho that’s exactly why his agent pushed him towards the role bc she was worried about his well being )
was still doing movies on the side and got nominated for an oscar once nbd
once the adrenaline started not being enough for him, he turned to a mixture of progressively harder drugs and alcohol
ended up getting married in vegas under the influence to @noellefowler and lowkey they’re still married lmao
one night he overdosed and was brought to the hospital with what should’ve been a lethal amount of drugs and alcohol in his system so he was lucky he survived
went to rehab immediately after and completed the program
part of the deal for returning to criminal minds was that jackson had to stay behind the desk no matter liam’s protests
he kept going to meetings and started dating jess ortega ( who it won’t let me tag ) and they’ve been together for about six months
he and his publicist are really pushing the ‘reformed liam’ image even tho he’s still secretly the same guy behind the scenes ( with a lot more confidentiality wavers )
spends most of his public free time doing charity work
has publicly said he would do a musical again if the right when came around ( film fest anyone ?????? )
