Interesting question, I think it depends on where they are at power level-wise. If they were both powered down— Super Nova with little to no asteroid power VS An Yu with her dragon powers sealed off, it would be a close match.

Though I will give the edge to An Yu here, since she's actually trained in hand to hand combat and martial arts

Super Nova lasted way longer against a powered down An Yu, than the AniMasks did anyways.

Honestly, I think they would stay mostly the same in the AU. With a few minor changes to their designs of course (just make it a bit easy for me lol)

They're still crazy kids that run around the city and have fun, letting all that werewolf energy out and all. Rip and Howler, stays mostly the same but they would consider Kevins' ideas a bit more often Kevin, on the other hand, is slightly different. He has the same personality in the show, but here he does want the best for his pack so he does try to push them into working together more and try to get some kind of training in. He doesn't succeed most of the time, Rip and Howler almost always end up fighting each other.

And I think that would lead to Kevin trying to find a way to make his pack listen to him for a change, and one of those ways would be going full Wolfy. Yeah, I think he'll be the one to turn into an actual full werewolf here (Rip and Howler might be able to achieve it but not any time soon me thinks) with the help of moon crystals just like that one episode in the show (Moonwolfy I think?)

Hopefully I'll keep posting, if ever I have the time to (college just started up again 🥀 and all) but I'm just surprised someone asked about Gloop lmaoo

Yeah, I have ideas for him (and I lowk had ideas for him before Octobella, hell even Armadylan) I'm working on the Wolfy Kids at the moment, but I'll have a proper post for him eventually🫡

I will admit that I like Lunalette, it's like my top 1 ship in the show but I want to explore other connections in my AU

So there probably wont be any 'endgame' ships in the Villains AU (it might change, but it's not likely). The relationships between characters can't be strictly categorized into one thing, it's a whole lot of mixed feelings and some kind of admiration here 🙏

I don't have plans writing or posting fanfics of my PJ Masks Villains AU 😔 I'm no writer, and I certainly don't have the time to fit it into my schedule (if I ever attempt at writing it) Right now, I just draw concepts and have bits and pieces of the story written on the posts

Yeah, I was a bit unsatisfied with Lunas' previous design the most 🙏 so I had to rework her a bit and found a design that I'm somewhat satisfied with I think With Night NInja, I just made him look simpler I guess? An outfit that doesn't get in the way of fighting and he has longer hair now 😌 Captain Romeo didn't change that much because he's perfect ✨

Here they aree, the heroic duo— Armadylan and FrostBear ✨️

In this AU, Armadylan, being new to the city, wanted to be a hero. A good hero. Unfortunately, the Night Time Kids aren't exactly his ideal picture of a hero team. They're honestly more anti-hero than anything. Saving the city because they have to. Of course, that can change as they continue to develop themselves throughout the AU. Though, if I had to pick, Night Ninja is the most heroic between him, Luna, and Capt. Romeo.

Since they're the only real hero team in the city, Armadylan kind of placed them on a pedestal, having high expectations (in terms of heroics) for the Night Time Kids. that ended up with him wanting to be in with the Night Time Kids. They humored him at first but it leads to an eventual rejection.

Left bitter he eventually ran into Gator, they managed to hit off actually. Comparing who's the strongest and having the usual fun rough housing, Armadylan would eventually share his dreams of being a hero. Even though Gator is a villain here, he tries to help him out. Getting the armadillo-themed hero something to do, Gator asks SuperNova for some ideas but the Star villain took one look at Armadylan and refused. He said that the hero was 'too unpredictable'.

Then that was it. Gator wanted to push back on SuperNova, but didn't. He knows to not to mess with the person who literally holds his power crystal, so he just quietly apologized and went along with Nova. Armadylan was already pretty bitter from the first rejection, this second one made him angry. He impulsively launched an attack on SuperNova, or well- he tries to before getting absolutely bodied.

With that, Armadylan realizes that he doesn't need the help of the Night TIme Kids or anyone really. This city needs an actual hero. And for awhile he believed that he is the only true hero in Tarabiscoville.

After awhile of being a solo hero, he met Ivan during the day. He helped the kid out after bumping into him, became fast friends with each other. Wanting to be a good friend to Ivan, he started to hunt for something nice to gift him. That's when he overheard one of the other characters (I don't know which one yet) discuss something about a new power source and he thought that it might be a good gift for his new friend.

Commotion happens (tbh I haven't really thought of this part as well lmao) and it happens right outside of Ivans' house. Similar to the episode where he debuted. Ivan leaves his home to check what's all the noise about and it ended with Armadylan tossing this power source gift, be it the Ice Crystal or the Bad Asteroid (though personally I think the bad asteroid doesn't make any sense, it was an asteroid of literal badness but Ivan was just that good ig), towards Ivan.

I wanted to redesign the AniMasks a little;

At the start of the AU the characters are like preteens, around 12-13 years old I think (with the exception of ancients like An Yu and Bastet). Anyways I wanted to make the AniMasks' color schemes a bit darker than before, to better blend into the darkness.

Their relationship with each other didn't really change, they're pretty much similar to what I have said before. They like to mess around with each other, but ultimately continue to be together.

In this AU, Romeo, NN, and Luna go to the same school but NOT in the school where the AniMasks go to. The Night Time Trio goes to a private school instead, wearing uniforms and all that And for the question if they've ever encountered the AniMasks in the day time weeelll...

How would Captain Romeo react to another Romeo — for example, to the Romeo from my AU?

The Captain would be fascinated when meeting other versions of him. He's dabbled into alternate universe before, but could not get success out of it just yet. He'd try to learn everything he could in discovering another universes, comparing differences and similarities to his own Now for your AU, he'd try to take in as much info as possible whenever he's either interacting with the other Romeo or being in the universe itself

Orticia is a sentient plant girl, that Romeo accidentally made after an experiment. She is pretty much just a child in this AU. After Romeo made her he panics and went to one of the only (living) persons he can trust. His childhood friend, Octobella.

Octobella, in this AU, is more docile compared to her deranged counterpart in the classic universe but that doesn't mean she doesn't have her moments of crashing out. Bella is very much capable of manic destruction, but she just prefers to cultivate crystals and pond weed.

Romeo, Bella, and Orticia has a sibling-like relationship. Romeo and Bella certainly consider Orticia like a little sister at least.

Neither actually! Pj Robot does indeed exist in this AU, but he's with Newton/SuperNova instead of the AniMasks or Cap!Romeo. Nova-Bot helps with Newtons research about space, asteroids, etc. etc. He pretty much got attached to the little robot, bonding over their interest in space AND Nova-B actively helping Newton find his missing asteroids.

Nova-Bot helps with research, but sometimes he also gets sent to deliver messages to the AniMasks. They're still kind of cautious of SuperNova even after awhile of getting used to his presence, Nova-B is there to ease them. He IS still a cute robot that the AniMasks gave him some affectionate nicknames like 'Junior' or 'Little B'
